I love the birds around my home in Summer, but hate the droppings they leave over my vehicles. It is always nice to see them during the warm months and also during the Winter months also and we even had some Canadian Geese which stopped and rested in my brothers back yard and later left on their migration route. Some geese remain here all year long though and I saw them in Illinois, and Michigan and those there seem to be permanent residents and enjoying the water sources to relax, eat, and having their babies at.
Thank you this is very informative. I'd love to do work like this!
I found a bird band while metal detecting in a river. I went to the USGS report a band site and it was down. What should I do now?
Hi Jimmy, The best thing to do is to just try back later and report the band when the site is back up.
@@NebraskaGameandParksCommission thank you!!

What happens when they catch invasive bird species? If the owner of this channel sees this, my wife really wants to know!!!
