    To address the air pressure, you can install a small register or decorative grate in the toe kick. If the hinges are soft close, they will work much better, too.

    Andrew when u said that u could feel the air ,when u push the draws in, I believe if u drill sum small holes in the inside panels on the end that goes in first , U want see it because it would be inside the wall part it would release the air better so it would go through and I think it would be easier to push close !

    Man that is a nice bathroom you have Andrew. I wish truck stop shower rooms would look like that. A lot of them are so fealty I won't even step in the shower barefooted 👣 I had separate flip-flops i wear to take a shower in. Red spots on the floor & walls are dirty. Man that is a very nice bathroom. Man I like the hidden pull out dresser drawers man. You did a nice job of making them and painting them. I also like that paint gun that you was using. I need to get me one of them cuz I hate painting. This was a good video buddy. I hope you and Tiffany are having a good weekend. You take it easy buddy & try not to work too hard.

      @@TKCL 14 inches. Well lucky you are a small man. I never fit that space. I normally get a few small employees for when I need to get tight spaces work. Just my arm is that size. 29 inch round. My dad as a kid called me The Hulk. But as an adult he called me Hercules. I remember moving my sisters ex Frank as he had been in a car accident. And I was the only strong guy so sofa up 2 levels in the stairs by myself on my shoulder. Queen sized bed the same. And small employees on boxes... and as soon as I put the last big item up his sister with 2 guys shows up. So I left. I was done. So still no clue how you did the screws in that small of a space.

    How did you screw in the back part of the slides with the shower already done, and it was awesome to see you go thru that

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  2 роки тому +1

      I slid in there and attached each slide to three different studs that were in each side walls.

    Nice project. Not even a novice but was left wondering if you could have had put both slides on the backside one high and one low. Would the hardware bind or work ok? Just thinking if they were hidden would give the look of the shelf levitating with no visible support hardware. Possibly even more than 2 slides if carrying capacity was an issue. That and if you could have made the drawers even deeper “the full width of the shower”, you could have put in stops to limit the pull to your current width and a hidden release with the other door closed to allow access to two additional storage areas that are hidden and practically impossible to find even when trying for valuables.

      Not sure to be honest, fist time working with slides like this.

    Are you going to put some handles, or stoppers on the pullouts? And a question for tonight:))) What does it feel living in your house now, can you relax and enjoy or your OCD keeps noticing the unfinished things?

      Handles are coming, not sure about stoppers yet. It feels great living in our home, but I definitely notice all the small things that need attention. My list keeps growing!

    That is such a clever use of space! Is the width at least 13"? If so, Target has some pretty fabric bins that could be used for holding smaller stuff like washcloths. We use them in our linen closet to hold sheet sets.

    Just FYI... I cringe each time you use your table saw and do NOT push the piece of cut wood between the blade and fence completely through and past the blade. I come from a word working and cabinet building family and have seen some pretty severe kickbacks of wood that is even just slightly binding between the blade and fence where the wood can come out at ungodly speeds and do some serious damage to whatever is behind it. My father has a permanent huge dent in his shop door, which is 40' behind his saw from where his hand/pusher slipped off the board and it went flying. Anyway, congrats on the cabinets but please use your pusher between the fence and blade and follow through with pushing the piece you're cutting to pushing it past the blade! Just don't want to see you get hurt or put a hole in the wall of your new house! haha!
