I love it. For the boss you started to read the LCD and didn't finish. The stuff you were asking about was right on that LCD before you went in. Also you didn't use your Milkshakes so you were moving very slow. You can dodge all of it's attacks with better movement. Lastly, you have been carrying those same 5 blue nanite injectors in your inventory for a while now. Those are to be used for boss fight or when there are a ton of enemies stacked up. It is a fast regen for 2 minutes. You won't have to use so many health packs. Keep it up you are getting better everyday.
The shotgun is by far the best weapon for dealing with Abominations, Infestors, scorpions, and Assassins, but you have to wait till they're close and head shot them. If you get it right then 8 shots = 8 kills, and shotgun ammo is cheaper than Assault rifle ammo. Generally if there is a big white arrow painted somewhere, then it's there for a reason (there are a couple of exceptions in this POI in the control room itself). With turrets above an entry door, explosives are your friend, and often you can plant them before the turret can react, then retreat. The Janus you can park on top of the control tower.. the Aithas you have to park on top of the entry way. Its a close run thing between the Abandoned Bunker and the Abandoned Assembly Yard as to which is the most difficult. At least in RE1 there are ways to shortcut through both. You need to use Herbal Tea to treat the fever before you get the dehydrated debuff.. You have the latest update to the RE2 scenario.. there are a couple of changes from 2/3 weeks ago, and most likely the instructions for dealing with the Boss are clearer..
I love your series! I'm doing a playthrough with Reforged Eden 2 and I find it very fun...but I have a problem: I am at the early stage of my playthrough and struggle to find any optronic bridges...let alone the number needed to build any vessel... Where and how can I find them?
clipping into enemy ships is a very common problem and you could easily recreate it. just fly at high speed at the enemy OPV and ram it, best at the fromt. people used nose pinning to stop OPVs in RE1 and there this could happen, especially with low FPS. so no worries, happened to a lot of people. also if it will ever happen again, hold the align key (o or what ever you have bound it to) and wiggle around with your mouse. this will usually do the trick to get unstuck because align forces your blocks to go through other blocks. so wiggling and using align could have saved you
Pois in RE2 can now have up to 3 cores, one of them is the main one, but you always have to destroy all three. I've already found some Zirax and Abandoned with this system, which makes Pois more difficult ; )
1:12:54 later you'll ask about the control room, but the core is 3 blocks below that X right there. Of course you'll need about 70 explosive charges to get to it. Your way is much more exciting content though.

Started playing RE2 and these new icons are so confusing. It's taken me back to the beginning of empyrion in having to learn what everything is.
