what I love about Ben is his frank attitude and honesty.
Honesty in the sense that he is actively trying not to self-display in a way that others do, which would make the audience and interviewers happy & comfortable as usual, but just trying to avoid lying as much as possible to stay true to himself and the world around him.
You can feel how hard a time he has in just trying not to blunder by taking this very delicate and often times hazardous way of conducting himself cautiously through the challenging pavement that is publicity nowadays.
You can almost hear his inner voice screaming, wanting to really speak up and drop some truths, not only about working with people like Snyder & co. but ALL the wrongs that are comfortably kept silent with pink glasses and happy-go-luck external attitude in showbiz (and oh so many others man's realms).
I have the utmost respect for people like him, who are more afraid of who looks back through the mirror every day (keeping in mind the many wrongs with the world as it stands) than anything else - those kinds are the most altruistic and caring people out there.

I think most people overlook this moment in Ben's life which was at the time seemingly going downhill with his marriage, pressure from DC fans, his passion project not exactly being well received, and his alcohol addiction. I honestly think that playing Batman and the toxic audiences and fans as well really contributed to his overall mental and physical health, I'm glad Ben is all okay now and his career is still pretty good.

Well, so far he's the only good thing that's come out of the DC cinematic universe. But at least Wonder Woman looks good and the character of Aquaman seems to leave positive impression.
Best thing to come out of the DCEU is Superman. Best superman ever. Snyder nailed it. Then he showed he can do it two times in a row and nailed the Batman as well and for as little as we saw WW, nailed her too (no pun intended).
Now with the JL trailer, looks like he also nailed AquaMan and Flash. Still not sure were I stand on Cyborg at the moment. He is too weird for me something feels awfully off.

He dropped out of the directing role so he could put a greater amount of focus in the acting aspect. Which is good, but of course... Now there's a void.
Matt Reeves filled it for a matter of days before that fell apart, so there's currently no one in the director's chair.
And now the script is re-written as well.
Next news we get is that Ben wont do Batman at all and he is killed in Justice League.

Actually the ultimate cut, which is the film makers actual uncut, uncensored vision is a masterpiece in film-making and on the level of The Dark Knight, which not many other in the genre have reached.

Ben elevated Batman to a new level. His Batman felt like a comic book hero come to life. Nolan's batman was great, but felt like a movie batman, where as Affleck actually felt genuine.

Erik Lerström You're either exaggerating or haven't seen many movies to call this unwatchable. I have seen a ton of movies that are leagues below BVS and I'm sure a self described film expert like yourself would agree if you thought about it. Go watch something like Grown Ups 2, a few of the Tremors sequels, or IFrankenstein and you'll know what fucking train wrecks look like.

I've seen the the 9th circle of shitty movie hell where films truly are unwatchable and I promise you, even if you despised BVS, it is not even a contender to many wretched films.
Daniel James You do realize when critics see a movie, they usually see it before any of the other critics have put their reviews up, and yet when they all say it was a shitty film, it usually indicates something's wrong.
Thats bullshit. Its shot beautifully. I just watched it for the first time thinking it was going to be this terrible trash everyone was whining about, which is why i never saw it until now in the first place. But now I regret not seeing it because it was actually pretty good and got me pumped for justice league.

He actually got mad in an interview when Batman was brought up. I think part of it was because he was super bitter about Justice League and his Batman pitch getting rejected. I think he just didn’t want to think about it at the time. And he wanted to talk his films and not Batman. Talking Batman hurts the press tours for his passion projects.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Phenomenal compared to literally every other movie on the planet. The Terminator (1984) was my favorite movie before seeing MoS and BvS, but now those films are my two favorites. Why? Because they deserve to be. Because they were great stories with great character development (which, by the way, wasn't thrown in your face and you had to think to understand), and AMAZING dialogue.
The fact that one of the most things he hears of fans is "you were the bomb in phantoms, yo" restores my faith in humanity hahahahahahahaha
