This Lux collection is worth EVERY penny. It feels fantastic! I won’t purchase anything else. Chloe falls beautifully. I’ve gotten so many compliments on her.

Well holy moly love love love. Thought I wanted Newport but that second one in the straight Bob blonde is just fabulous. I just got Estetica Mellow in chocolate smoke in which reminds me of Newport and I love that. I think I will need the second one now.
I know!!! I feel the same! I think they're all beautiful! The blonde bob is Montecito. It's absolutely beautiful! Oooh, I love Mellow. I saw it in the chocolate smoke, and loved it. Great job as usual Marlene! Would love if you would do a video showing different mid length (15-19") wigs w/a salon blow out look (bend at the ends/swoopy layers as opposed to pin straight). I'm a bit fatigued of the curled look. Thank you!

Very interested in this new collection especially the coolest ash brown color. How does it compare to Jon Renau color 38?
Hi Penny, thank you so much for stopping by. While I no longer have 38 from Jon Renau, I can tell you the difference. 38 is a medium ashy brown just like the Coolest Ash Brown but 38 has 35% grey in the blend. Coolest Ash Brown has no gray at all but instead blended with a very pale dark ashy blonde or very light ashy brown. I asked some friends what they saw in the blend and the responses were mixed. It was a big discussion, but there's definitely no gray. We all did agree on that. xoxo Marlene

Newport had my interest, but I was hoping for a longer nape than what Trend Alert had and it looks like it does. So cute! I have Calabalas and Malibu coming next week in raw sugar blonde and milkshade blonde. After your review on the blonde Im hoping it will be ok. No idea it was a warm blonde from the color swatch. Hi Kathy, thank you so much for visiting! I didn't care for Trend Alert on me one bit, but I think Newport is really pretty and wearable. I'll be wearing it. When I had received Delight, this is what I was hoping it'd look like. I also like the new velcro adjuster on the City Collection. LOL, when I opened the box and saw that blonde, I nearly went into shock (I edited it out of the video). Like you, I wasn't expecting it to be so blonde and warm. You are going to love Calabasas. My review on Malibu will be up today and Calabasas tomorrow. I think Calabasas is my favorite so far out of the 6 I've tried. I have a few others on the way, and Milkshake is one of the colors. Thank you for this review. I'm waiting on Newport in Oyster Grey, a safe color but your Raw Sugar Blonde R (yes! I'm getting into blondes for a non-grey lighter color) is gorgeous and yes, you look lovely in that color. You know, your hair isn't as grey as mine and my hair too used to be black, 1b black and I have emotional baggage around blonde too LOL But I think you're simply uncomfortable due to your thinking, your ideas about what "being a blonde" means because it certainly isn't that you aren't flattered by the color, the right color. I was expecting Mocha Maple Brown 6/27 to be similar to English Toffee which has the same color codes but apparently more of the 27. And thanks for the comparison between Coolest Ash Brown with RW Iced Cafe Latte, very helpful. Ok, I've chatted enough, always more to say LOL Take Care, Marlene, see you later 🥰

Hi Marlene, I love your videos and you're my fav reviewer! These new BT styles are fabulous. How does the BT Coolest Ash Brown compare to Estetica's Chocolate Smoke? I ordered Chocolate Smoke, and gasped at how pretty the color is, but it was much too dark for me. I am so fair and pink-toned that many colors described as cool or neutral look gold-ish and unflattering on me. I would love to find a brunette that works for me. I so much appreciate your descriptions and how you always mention whether a color is warm or cool or neutral.🥰
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for stopping by and your support. To me, Chocolate Smoke has a base that is off black. I found it very dark. Coolest Ash Brown, on the other hand, is much lighter with the base of an 8 (medium brown). The higher the number the lighter the color. I believe Chocolate Smoke is a 1 or 2 base; therefor 8 is a much lighter brunette. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

Love the new styles and new warm brunettes. Do the styles have any permatease? I like some volume on top and a bit of permatease helps with that ?

I love my Belle tress wigs that's for sure, but I am surprised at just how different the shades are compared to the stock photos. I know you tend to stick to the brunettes, but are you going to show any of the blondes, specifically, Caramel Blonde Rooted? I ordered that color in the Malibu style. I miss my Mocha With Cream.

Hi Marlene I love your videos this time you didn't mention the cap I am petite how this last one Santa Monica fit, Ash brown would be ideal for me I have a lot of grey hair, and choosing the medium brown is so difficult I hate to constantly return a wig I deal a lot with Chiquel because I live in Canada but they don't carry all the wigs could you tell me where I can order Santa Monica to be delivered in Canada and charge me in Canadian dollars... Hi Lorymay, thank you for visiting! I've never cut bangs on a wig, but I don't see why you couldn't on Montecito. There is a long side swept, I would guess it lends itself to a bang. Since it has a left part, it may need some heat to prevent the bang from wanting to part, but that's easy to do with a flat iron. xoxo Marlene

Hi DW, I think most of these are lower density than some I've had from the Cafe Collection. In my opinion, Newport is much lower density than Califia. If you are referring to a short pony in a clip, I think it may be too short. If you are asking about putting the side up in a clip, that won't be an issue. xoxo Marlene

Hi Lory, Montecito weighs 3.7 ounces and Avery weighs 3.3 ounces, so Montecito's density is slightly higher but I don't think by much. I wear primarily low density wigs and have no problem with wearing Montecito. xoxo Marlene
