We were glad to see that there was advice to have gas appliances regularly serviced and to check the CO alarm. However, there was no advice on buying a CO alarm - please advise everyone without one to buy one to EN 50291 direct from a reputable supplier (such as a DIY store or supermarket) NOT the Internet. The cost is about £12 to £20 - not much to save a life. What about other fuels such as solid fuel? What about chimney sweeping and ensuring ventilation? However, much improved on the warnings we've seen in the past so thank you SGN.
