Max Biret is the Distribution Manager responsible for constructing our world-first green hydrogen gas network in Levenmouth Fife.
He’s playing a key role in energy innovation and decarbonisation. Max tells us about his career journey so far and what it's like working on a project that's playing a key role in decarbonising home heating and helping to reach net zero.
H100 Fife is our world-first project happening in Buckhaven and Denbeath where up to 300 homes will be using hydrogen to heat their homes instead of natural gas. Hydrogen doesn’t produce any carbon when it burns, so the project is playing an important role to help Scotland and the UK reach net zero.
