  • I apologise for the mono audio for the voice over. This has only just been brought to my attention (3k views in) and the only suggestion I have is that I somehow messed up the L+R balance in editing and somehow I never noticed. I probably would have noticed if I was using these edifier speakers on my PC at the time of editing)
    Specs for the S3000 Pro:
    Edifier Website - www.edifier.co...
    Wireless left and right speaker setup

    Just bought this in Amazon. Quality construction throughout and looks high class. Truly wireless as there is no wire between left and right speakers and never had a single instance of wireless transmission dropout. Sound quality is lively and entertaining so it is not very neutral but it is great fun. Bass quality is simply amazing and gob-smacking as I had not expected this in a sub £1K speakers. Top end is energetic but never shrieky or piercing. All in all super value at under £600. Use this as a rear speaker of my Samsung N650 Sound beam and the combination is phenomenal.

    At $799, these are not expensive. Think about it, I can walk into a hifi shop, and buy a pair of budget bookshelf speakers, Monitor Audio Bronze 50's for $699, then I have to add an amp, and a DAC.. You wouldn't get much change out of $1700 all up

      @@JohnJ25 Still on site, bit more expensive atm. Search 'Austin Technology edifier 3000 pro'. Still nothing comparable for the price/performance and truly wireless. Compare the KEF LSX II Wireless, they're twice the price. Have had 2 pairs of these for 3 years now, never missed a beat and still get people commenting on how good they sound. Get yourself a WiiM mini pro (soon to be released) and you're good to go.

    How much do you have to spend on amp/passive speakers/cables to sound this level?

    • @arthurwatts1680
      @arthurwatts1680 4 роки тому

      In mu experience, spend at least 80% of what you are spending on your speakers, and never assume that these will be the only speakers you buy. My little T-amp does a decent job with both my passive speakers, but I know my Marantz PM6005 had more grunt - that's life.

    Compared with s2000 pro or klipsch the sixes?

    • @renovatio6971
      @renovatio6971 5 років тому +1

      Klipsch, KEF, Wharfedale forget them. The S2000 pro is a cheaper alternative if you don't mind the long cable that connects the 2 speakers. Just power them both and they sync automatically. I connect this with my 65" Samsung QLED TV via optical splitter, one connect to the sound bar N650 Sound Beam and one to the edifier speaker. the combination is deadly awesome.

    • @renovatio6971
      @renovatio6971 5 років тому

      S2000 pro is 120Watts RMS rating but the S3000 Pro is 256Watts RMS... 48Hz~20KHz, Bluetooth 5.0 w/ aptX . Optical, Bluetooth and USB connection is the same. In USB mode, just connect it to your PC and press USB in the remote. It will install itself. Advantage is that in USB mode you can now activate Dolby Access in your laptop or computer. And it's more immersive, perfect sound separation. I test how low the frequency can go but at 20Hz is still pounding and below. Hear it to believe it. It's beast! - I'm a Electronics and Communication Engineer, just would like you to know I'm not talking non-sense here..

      Thank you Oddy.
      I already have the Edifier r2000db for a small room and is NICE but now Im thinking to purchase some bigger and more powerful two speakers for a bigger room, floorstand speakers or with stands, Im not sure. Love the aesthetics of s3000 pro and klipsch the sixes, but Im not sure about which sounds better.

    • @renovatio6971
      @renovatio6971 5 років тому +1

      Jose, it took me more than six months to decide. I was watching reviews for ELAC, KEF, SVS, Wharfedale and Klipsch active and passive speakers. At first my 1st priority are passive speakers since I already have a Creative Sound Blaster X7. So I carefully study Elac and Wharfedale but my top of the list is KEF LS50 wireless active speakers followed by SVS Ultra. And you know how much they are, this is something that I have to argue with my wife. So I started to look for alternatives, the first listed was Wharfedale 85th Denton Anniversary Speakers similar to the Klipsch the sixes but Klipsch the sixes are active. I was about consider buying the Klipsch RP600M for my Sound Blaster X7 until I saw the New Edifier S3000 Pro Speakers at CES 2019 introduce by JDL (just Don't Lie). Klipsch the sixes is a little too bright, good low volume but when you start raising the volume - the high might get a little too sharp like many other Klipsch but not the latest model RP Series, if you prefer passive speakers. What I like best with Edifier S300 pro is the value for money. You can get a pair of these speakers with a stand lesser than getting a pair of Klipsch the sixes (no need to argue with wife afterwards) with a sound signature of all the top expensive speakers I've mentioned here. Plus the wireless freedom. I don't believe wireless sounds better than wired but until you get your hands of one of these, you'll be blown away. Plus these speakers are HI-RES certified which means "Sound Quality" higher than 44.1kHz / 16bit (CD quality) with 192kHz / 24bit or higher resolution, the sampling rate is higher than 44.1KHz, the bit depth is deeper than 16 bits simply better sound quality performance. The higher the sampling rate, the more accurate the sound description and revivification. S3000 Pro it is.
