One of my favourite things in the game is that in my most recent playthrough of arena mode, after the vampire mission, Doc hit a pedestrian. Never had that happen before

I remember about the dynamic Hub Worlds, most especially with the Commercial Sector.
Entering a presumably populated place as Hank, only to see absolutely no one with the vibes of Locknar’s “Good Kill A”
Only when you’ve alerted the Nexus Core to your location and noise do enemies begin to spawn, along with Patients and Orderlies to bring chaos to the once peaceful but empty night streets.
But I hadn’t realized stuff like the Industrial Sector beginning to get invaded by Zeds with Bandits to follow. Their appearance and the implications described really bring these little details most players might not find, but I love how much story they indirectly tell.

Can't wait for more of this. Hearing a lot of the though process that went into this is really insightful and interesting. Absolutely love the game you guys made, every so often I get an itch to do another playthrough. That is how addicting the gameplay loop is.

I really like this consept of the dev’s doing a retrospctive while going throungh and playing the game.
Co-op is one of my things about playing Madness project nexus, it has been an overwhelmingly fun experience with family and friends and that's just from story mode alone.
The only thing about it is I’m not sure if there is keyboard support for player 2’s and threes if there was I would totally pick it up for a friend
Is there no online or something like that? Also, how could I put the controller, for example, I would play with the keyboard and my brother with the controller, is that possible?
@@alexgamerxd8266 To answer the formal, no, there is no official online co-op. But I recommend the program Parsec for online co-op.
Answering the latter, yes, you can set up the keyboard and controller separately as long as when a player joins, they don't select on the popup to assign controller to player one. But I think the keyboard is defaulted to player one only.

im gonna be sure to watch this whole thing just for co-op i need to know how to get it to work.
It used to have issues because of the Steamworks SDK we installed in March to get achievements working, but now controllers should be back again!

Man ive just beaten the story mode yesterday within 2 days and now im still having a blast with the arena mode this game is honestly the best madness combat ever. ive been a fan of madness ever since i was 13 and now im 22. ive watched the cartoons so many times. i even still remember the first one.

excited for the next parts, love getting to know lil trivia about games, and my favorite thing about MPN is the lore of it my only question is why isn't Tricky in the game more? for such an important character in both the MPN story and in the animations, i think it'd be fun to see him more.

Madness Combat has been such a big part of my online entertainment for such a very long time. I remember eagerly and happily waiting through the entirety of middle school and high school for episode 11, and spending every madness day on Newgrounds enjoying whatever this kooky community can cook up to celebrate.

Lovely little podcast you guys! Loved all the tidbits and details on all this. Though a couple questions:
will you be adding a "magic wall" Tome for Magiturge like what was shown in the teaser video?
Also, do you plan on doing anything with drones or robots? Kinda like if characters could deploy them like a Combine Metrocop with a Manhack? It would be really cool to see that in a sort of Builder or Engineer Origin though its possible someone could make it in NEM and the Dossieur
One thing I would love to hear about is the cut content, abandoned ideas etc.
This is really good,since we hear what the process of making this game was is pure nostalgia.It's also really cool hearing that work on the game is still being done.Just a small thing,will story mode get more story to it so it could have the episode 1.5 from classic.It's always nice to have more story.
For a first episode, that was pretty good! I loved listening to you guys talk and play, and look forward to future videos.
As for suggestions… I have none. Not at the moment at least, but that should go to show how much I enjoyed this.

i even used to listen to the old streams many years ago before this game was even in alpha and watched it get to alpha stage and beta. however i diden't buy it on alpha stage cause i wanted the full game on steam. so now that i have a new gaming laptop i decided to buy madess project nexsus. no regret at all

I am glad you guys doing this. I wanted a dev commentary on Projects nexus since its release. Because i think the story behind the making of projects nexus is interesting.

Hey, I just want to say that the comment about how the game will become more polished and better as the levels progress: unless if there's game-breaking bugs, I feel it would be a homage to the original series to see the progression of you guys making better rooms as the game goes along.
Edit: I don't think I was clear in my comment. It will be cool to see the game in retail, these stages you have showcased for us and the ones you haven't shown/made yet.

There could possibly be a dlc for story mode, but its probably not going to be out anytime soon, considering they just released a new arena update that adds new story stuff.
Wish we could get the old arena maps as dlc.

i have one small complain do. they made all the classic characters from madness series playable expect for tricky. why the heck is tricky not playble in the mission he is featured in. i tried to change to him with the character swap command but it does not work. i get that his not the main villain of the game but it would be nice to play as him in the mission he is in.

It would be "The pro" : 10 imprints no upsides or downsides and can focus all skills
Just make yourself a custom origin, it's not that difficult.
