Novi sad is located in Vojvodina province of Serbia and that part was under Austro--Hungarian rule so thats why the architecture is some what diferent compared to other parts of Serbia( aspecialy south) that was under Otoman empire (Turkish influence)

Nice video, quick correction, Belgrade has not a Russian influence it has a Byzintine influence The Serbian and also the Blugarian Orthodox Churches are older than the Russian one. Also Novi Sad while having Roman/Katholik influence in architecture they are not majority Katholic, people there are majority Orthodox. And many Katholic looking churches are Orthodox.

Novi Sad is for centuries with Serbian majority. 80 % are Serbs ortodox
It was literally called "Serb City" (Ratzen stad) by the A-H government until it was named Novi Sad, many old maps show proof of that. Ratzen is a old German way of referring to the Serbs, cause medieval Serbia was called Rashka.

But guys you missed Sremski Karlovci :{ It is the prettiest Serbian little town and only 15 min. by bus from Novi Sad...,,Also my suggestion is to visit Sombor and Subotica {with lake Palic}..They are two prettiest Serbian cities..Also Golubac fortress is must ,with Viminacium and Lepenski Vir nearby...And finally Manasija monastery {with Resava cave and Ravanica monastery nearby}..And if you like trains so much :} you can check out Sargan 8 and Mokra Gora close to Tara national park
Just outside of Belgrade is Avala mountain..There is a cool Avala tower and monument of unknown soldier
We wanted to go visit, but ran out of time and needed to catch our train! We loved Novi Sad so much that we will definitely be back to visit more of the area

We still have plenty of clickity clank trains too (Beograd-Bar is one of the most popular) but our rail system is going through major reconstruction and modernization and the line to NS and soon Subotica is the first one that was completed. Plans for it is to be a full speed train line from Belgrade to Budapest. There is also in the works track reconstruction and modernization from Belgrade to Nis (3rd largest city which you really should visit and spend few days there cuz southern Serbia is quite different vibe from Belgrade and Vojvodina in general) and among other also from Nis-Pirot-Dimitrovgrad which would make traveling to capital of Bulgaria much easier and faster (probably 1-2 hours from Nis to Sophia).
Btw forgot to mention, in that fortress every summer (10-14th July this year) you have one of the biggest music festivals in Europe called Exit Festival and really huge names often perform in every possible music genre. Highly recommend that you try to visit it if you are nearby in the region then.

Otkud ti tamo?! Salim se, bio sam jednom u Krakowu, i stvarno su neki delovi grada (pre svega oni koje turisti najvise i posecuju) prelepi, a ljudi su vrlo ljubazni, uctivi i gostoljubivi. Ja sam bio svega 6-7 sati tamo, i voleo bih da posetim Krakow ponovo bar na par dana!

Novi Sad is not mainly catholic. 80% population is Serbian orthodox. It has always been city with majority Serbian population. The nick name of the city is Serbian Athens.
It wasn’t, 30% were Germans 30% Serbs pre ww2
It was founded by Serbian Orthodox merchants and traders because they were not allowed to live at Petrovaradin, which was exclusive to Catholic Croats and Hungarians. The same Serb merchants would later pay to become a free royal city in the Austro-Hungarian empire, which would result in more freedome of governence for its population, gathering all cultured Serbs from both A-H and Ottoman Empire, result in the nick name Serbian Athens. The city boomed in population when it unified along with Srem, Banat, Backa and Baranya with the Kingdom of Serbia, which then formed the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (before that Sombor was the regional capital). Its major boom was due to becoming the seat of the Danube Banovina administrative unit under Yugoslavia. Since then it continued to rise in population, in no small part due to being the administrative center of the Autonomous region of Vojvodina.

Most of the tourist hotspots are tourist traps. Real food you kinda need to know someone to tell you, usually at the residential neighborhoods farther from Old Town.
Italian restaurants are the lowest cost restaurants to run; small explanation why so many ;)

BULLET train is train faster then 350km per hour. I can imagine bullet train in Serbia, country which is something like 5 hours drive from the most southern to the most northern point. BULLET train will cover that distance for 1 and half hours. Sorry, my english and gramm are bad.

6 dollars for fast train isnt expensive for serbians, but 50 dollars, us dollars, even canadian, is to expensive. Real price should be something like 18 us dollars max. Ordinary, non fast train BG-Novi Sad will cost you 2,5 or 3 dollars i think, also very nice swiss train. This train is fast train, 200km per hour, also swiss STADLER train. We have 3 STALDER KISS fast trains, soon fleet will be extended up to 6 trainsbecuse new fast railway Belgrad-budapest shoudl be opened. Besides 3 STADLER KISS fast trains, we have 35 STADLER ordinary trains and 27 russian trains, simmilar like ordinary STADLER. We also have old latvian blue trains. They operates, connects belgrade municipalities, service called BEOGRAD VOZ, BELGRADE TRAIN.
Btw, serbian railways are in process of renovation. They are not in good shape, actually big percentage is in very bad conditioons. Also, lot of train stations looks like after atomic bomb. You will see that when you visit southern part of the country, Niš, Kragujevac and other locations. These trains, STDLER are relatively new, they operates in Serbia just couple years. 2020. or 2021. i think?. Russian trains operates from year of 2017. i think.

It is not regular, it is high-speed inter city train (on the ground it reaches even speeds of up to 230 km/h). The Shinkansen, network of high-speed railway lines in Japan are firstly colloquially known in English as the bullet train, but later that term bullet started to be used for all high-speed trains from 200km/h and above.
Novi Sad and Serbia in general remind me a lot of Mogadishu, Somalia. Also, some parts were similar to Bangladesh.
Zagreb (Croatia) also reminded me on Chechnya or parts of Pakistan...
