It's just a really solid show that is perfectly in line with how queer all their other shows are.

Their constant level of raw "don't give a fuck" about representation and inclusion is heartwarming. My queer ass constantly feels repped when I watch their stuff. I don't ever have to worry about them bending over backwards to placate bigot snowflakes who crybaby about seeing people who don't live their lives according to whichever outdated fantasy book they simp for. Kinda helps that Brennan seems like one of the few purely delightful humans who I can't help but aggressively stan. Fully one of the sweetest people online, leaving me utterly jealous of and delighted for Izzy, _another_ wonderful person.
Dropout being as unapologetically queer as they really is a beautiful thing. It never feels forced, never preachy, they never makes excuses for it, it always feels organic and as a natural part of them and the content they produce. They also do it in ways that are not alienating for anyone who is unfamiliar with queer culture, or who is on the fence for whatever other reason.
There's 2 moments that are my favorite as a long time player. The first is when Bob is giving her intro description and she is 100% locked into the vibe. But also the way monet and Alaska looked at her as she describes this great scene and you can just see them click and get fully into the spirit of how dramatic it can be. I can't remember the exact scene but brennan is describing something masterfully and jujube looks like she's just fallen in love, that's the moment she gets fully locked in. It is seriously AMAZING how Brennan is able to teach while playing the way he does. I've never seen anything so seemless. I've never played dnd and I really want to find a game to join. I'm trying to manage my expectations, though, because I don't know that I'll just encounter a DM like Brennan right off the bat.
he started out DMing at age 11, and was a camp counselor at a LARP camp for many years, so I think he's had a lot of practice. I agree he's a brilliant teacher, never condescending.
This was SUCH a great interview. Such open-ended, yet well-researched questions. And once again, Brennan opens up his brain to let the thoughts and words spill out and I cannot help but eat it all up
I have actually discovered dimension20 because of the queens! I just LOVED combining drag queens and DND! Brilliant combo! So stimulating!👌 we def need more of that! 🥺

God, Dungeon and Dragqueens has left me forever changed. Im so emotional just watching this interview, and hearing how supportive Brennan is of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Here's hoping we get a season 2, even if its a new set of characters.
Amazing series. Like a campy fantasy movie I would watch over and over. I really hope it comes back and Brennan is so right about what a good learning series for a first timer it is
I know some other Queens who do d&d. I know for a while Evah Destruction, Abhora, Maddy Morphosis, Bombae, androking... And if I'm missing someone forgive me were doing a campaign on twitch. There are definitely people who are interested. I bet Maddy would be interested again if he got hit up for this depending on scheduling and stuff
Noooo! There’s only 4 episodes?!?!?! That’s heartbreaking! I literally checked how many episodes the other series had been to know how much of this we would get! Hahaha
I was hesitant on this series because drag in general is a bit overstimulating for me and I don't necessarily care for it. But when I finally binged it, I was not ready for it to be only 4 episodes. What a fantastic series and I hope they all continue to play and return in the future
This season gave such a great introduction that I’ve watched the first episode so many times now, my partner and I are in the middle of the unsleeping city and have now brought drop out bc I need to see more of this. I’ve always been interested, but never thought I would get the chance to sit in on one of these adventures
Oh man, since the queens were talking about how could they ever play with another DM after being spoiled by the Brennan experience and honestly I already know that Bob would _adore_ Aabria as a DM! @@lucasblankenoh got it I didn't know Jujubee was with PEG. That's why they got the 4 together.
Guess what, Mimi!
Brennan looks so different!! after watching the show for the first time with the queens, I loved his story telling so much, I was trying to find more with him in it and couldn’t find one! Only to realize they’re all mostly him just without a beard lmao! He looks so good in this season like wow! I’m shocked!
I've been playing D&D since the 70s, and this is the absolute best crossover I could have imagined. I've seen Bob perform live so I'm not at all surprised at the way they took to the game. Great show, great players, EPIC GM. I hope there's more to come!
Totally makes sense that he was a camp counselor, very much those vibes!
he started out DMing at age 11, and was a camp counselor at a LARP camp for many years, so I think he's had a lot of practice.
Its official Bob is Brennans drag mom
Theyve unlocked something awesome and im here for it-
I'm LGBT and always heard of DnD but never delved into it- both worlds seem to merge as Brendan said- the Camp intersects.
I hope they make this an ongoing thing with different queens
What a humble, fabulous, talented man and an awesome game master- i love the noises and voices he makes- everyones jaws are dropped
And what fabulous points he brings up in this interview- i can totally relate to RPGs knowing my transness before me- from Playing with Barbies to always selecting the female characters in video games
I see a lot of people suggesting different rpdr queens that they wanna see play Dnd, and i just wanna say that Jinkx is a great choice! Her whole aestethic and vibe (swamp witch/ren faire) are literally made for this
Subscribed to dropout for a year just because of the dungeons and drag queens campaign.
Loving this season!!! The queens are such naturals at DnD!
I love Brennan so much. He's just so kind and accommodating to everyone and it really brought together spectacularly. He's such a rare human to have on this earth.
For some reason, the queens and Dungeon and Dragons is a PERFECT mix!!! So entertaining
Woo yeah! This season has already been so fun! It's always a blast watching people's growth as they learn both the mechanics and the meta-game of story creation that goes into tabletop.
I DESPERATELY want a season with Katya. Preferably Trixie too, but I NEED Katya.
Jinkx, Dela, Katya and Trixie would be amazing
Omg yes, Katya would be great!
I want them to come back. I never had watched any DND campaigns, but its so much fun with Bob, Alaska, Jujubee and Monet
DUDE. YOU NEED TO PUSH THIS SECOND CHANNEL ON THE MAIN ONE! I had no idea it exists but I’m glad I found it!! Aww man, please add captions! I am deaf… auto-captions suck :/
I've always wanted to play D&D and never had the opportunity to play with any friends growing up but these queens are giving!!!! Bob the Drag Queen is also fantastic! I need friends who want to play!
We need a new season with Jinkx, BenDeLa, Katya and KimChi! That would be amazing! 😂😂😂
Omg Katya would be a MENACE (and I’d love to see it)
@@FloorAndPimMusic she would be awful at the game (not taking it that seriously prob) but her commentary would be GOLD
Katya would be the BEST
I’ve never played d&d or this channel / series. However, im obsessed now! I want to play and find out more about the game.
I also noticed your community embraced bob, juju, alaska, and monet with open arms. Thank u for doing this
"just the pun 'death drop' "
Amazing.
I need more episodes with this DM and more drag queens I'd watch them all again honestly
Season 2 confirmed, same cast.
drag race fan who discovered this through bob and monet on their channel! having so much fun watching
I love watching people fall in love with the game too! And you see it all over this season so far!
Hopefully the episodes gets tons of likes and views so Dimension 20 know we want more!!!!
Honestly we need a season 2 with the same cast and maybe add a few more queens to add more dynamics to the season
Can we all see more of the queens plying DND
I absolutely adore and love this dnd group! I laughed and smiled so much throughout💞
God, Dungeon and Dragqueens has left me forever changed. Im so emotional just watching this interview, and hearing how supportive Brennan is of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Here's hoping we get a season 2, even if its a new set of characters.
If this ever happens again pls make this a series 🩷
I've only seen the first episode but I was so sucked in. Such a great job.
Bob is great storyteller. he'd be a good DM
Would love a friend with benefits like Alvin
Amazing series. Like a campy fantasy movie I would watch over and over. I really hope it comes back and Brennan is so right about what a good learning series for a first timer it is
He is a delight.
Ugh Brennan never ceases to amaze me. This man is just so good with his words. This interview is pure gold!
Omg Bianca del rio doing dnd I NEED IT!!!
I hope you guys do this as many times as you can
Noooo! There’s only 4 episodes?!?!?! That’s heartbreaking! I literally checked how many episodes the other series had been to know how much of this we would get! Hahaha
Brennan is a wonderful DM for these queens.
Please give us more seasons with other queens!!
Love to see this getting coverage. Truly wonderful so far
I could absolutely see both of them teaming up to lovingly tease Monet any chance they got. Ughnfff, I absolutely NEED to see Aabria DM for a D&DQs campaign! 🧡
Season 2 confirmed, looks like Brennan as DM still. They're doing lots with drag though, so I'd suspect different queens might end up DMd by Aabria
@@RufusUlrik oh yes yes, for that campaign, I'd never want to see anyone but Brennan as DM for sure! But it would def tickle me to no end if we could ever see Aabria, BtDQ and Monet in any other campaign together down the road. From what we can see from how relentlessly Bob & Monet tease each other on "Sibling Rivalry", it seems like they'd really dig Aabria's wit! 😊👌
@@DarlingMissDarling A Court Of Fey and Flowers with a drag cast would rock. Would love to see Katya as well, she's been in a dirty laundry episode.
@@RufusUlrik Rufus, you beautiful genius, that season was my intro to D20 and I don't know why I didn't immediately think of how perfect of a fit that would be! And katya would MUUUURDER d&d, she's a super geek and knows so much about so many different topics that her fantasy improv would be _crazy._ I can already imagine her busting out into one of the boatload of languages she speaks and man, I really hope it happens!
i've watched critical role not knowing how dnd is played. this campaign is a really fun tutorial
Love these interviews! More videos about Dimension 20 would be fantastic!
Dungeons and Drag Queens is amazing!
my goal is to work dollars to doughnuts into as many conversations as possible.
Brennan is a truly gifted storyteller!!
I've been seeing the dimension 20 clips for a while, though i don't know anything about D&D, but this series got me to finally get Dropout. Currently watching Crown of Candy also, but the Drag series has been a great intro and primer for things i didn't understand in COC.
Brennan when talking to Murph:"Emily is one of the greatest players in the world. She was also sent from hell to kill me."
Brennan when talking about Emily to literally anyone else: "Why would I need to warn anyone about Emily? She's talented, and they get to experience that. 😅
This was the best season of D20. I want a longer season of this.
I know very little about D&D and recently I had more contact through Baldurs Gate 3. Being a fan of Drag Race for such a long time and connecting these two experiences is so fun! I am willing to play D&D now more then ever.
Watching this season shows how much we need more queens guest starring in all Dropout stuff. Queens like Bob are excellent improvisers and i'd love to see her on Game Changer as a competitor.
Brennan is so cute in his elf drag
Would love to see this series expand and these worlds to cross more
I could listen to this guy talk for hours at a time - oh wait, I already do that
Imagine Matt as a guest judge on drag race
2:45 imagining Alaska demanding to be an Orc called Princess
I’ve never played d&d but I’m so curious now and I would watch dungeons and drag queens like a tv show 😂
I need more please!! Jinx, Dela, Alyssa and Bianca!
I am a huge fan of drag race and this show has 3 of my top favorite Queens ive heard of dnd before but never really looked into and after witching this i sent to my bbf and I was like why havent anyone told me about this world. Fantasy high is all ive been watching I had my mom watching it she seemed to like and now im watching sophomore year. If you didnt have the queens on i dont think i would have ever known about this show... so thank you never much.
What Brennan said about using only the PC's backstories made me think of how many adaptations didn't respect the source materials. Ie. The Witcher TV series.
Watching this got ME into DND. I wish I had been invited sooner, but what an introduction!
We love love these queens and this was an awesome group
Questing Queens season 2. WAITING….
If they can't get the same cast for season 2, I would love a new cast with: Jinkx, Lawrence Chaney, Peppermint and Jaida Essence Hall.
