    This dude is cap, being black doesn’t automatically make you a good rapper. at least Eminem does his homework and he actually studied the craft of those who came before him. he’s not in it just to profit off of it. he actually pays respect to those who came before him. not to mention not every black rapper is good, there are a lot of black rappers that suck.

    Saying Eminem isn’t the goat of black hip hop cus he’s white is like saying pele isnt the goat of British white soccer cus he’s black or saying Jordan isn’t the goat of American white basketball cus he’s black 😂

    While we are gate keeping accolades let’s take away basketball from Kobe, MJ, and Lebron. Let’s take it further let’s take away boxing accolades from Mayweather let’s keep it going why don’t we take away golf from Tiger Woods. Stop the gate keeping and give people their flowers no matter the skin color.

    I agree that Em is the GOAT. I also agree that Umar is wrong. This is one of those times where Quake says stuff that he does not do his research. Quake says that Em's Whiteness has nothing to do with him being at the top, which is untrue. Quake then tries to give evidence that Bubba Sparxx was produced by Timberland, proving that Mathers being produced by Dre is not the reason he rose, which is a false equivalency. Tim has never been on Dre's level. Quake says there have never been other rappers to reach Mather's height, which is untrue. Vanilla Ice was the first White Cat to go number one on Billboard without a Dre producer.
    Another example is the Beastie Boys, who have had at least five platinum albums and have ruled hip-hop for years. I have noticed Quake; even though you have bomb Docs with truth, you get stuff wrong from your bias with artists when you speak from the cuff. You once said that Melle Mel was a one-hit wonder, which again is false. As a hip-hop head, you should have known at least that simple fact that Melle Mel had multiple hits even without the Furious Five. IK that Mel's era is before your time, but you should have at least gone to your computer and researched these things to fact-check. It only takes less than five minutes to discover all the facts I have stated here. Quake, you partially admitted that Slim Shady's color has something to do with his rise, which shows that you, even as a White immigrant, know about the White privilege that is favored by artists when it comes to being accepted by White audiences. Hip-hop is not color blind; almost no social and entertainment venue is objective to Race. Finally, Em has continued to honor Hip-hop, but in the past, even Em has disrespected the culture before his rise, calling Black females the n-word and saying because they were Black, they were no good. In one of Em's latest albums, he embodied himself as the racist Elvis, rapping that he would make a Black rapper shine in his shoes. Yes, later, Em acknowledged he was wrong. Still, it goes to show that Em is an ex-racist like President Joe Biden, who has done racist stuff in the past. Still, it realizes they were wrong and sometimes actively supports Woke movements for the betterment of humanity, but just like ex-alcoholic, ex-racists get back on their racism sauce from sheer habit and the racist indoctrination of Whiteness. Again, Umar is wrong and a con man, but Em does benefit from White privilege in his career after he got over the hump of when Whiteness is a deterrent in the rap game.

It's stupid! Also again, he clearly missed where Joe Budden asked him does he think Eminem is "one of the greatest", not "the greatest", but "one of the greatest". People needs to understand one thing HIP HOP started in blacks communities it was a way of expressing our struggles since that was the only platform we could get aired on the radio so we used that opportunity, HIP HOP is not about who's the best in writing, or words play..HIP HOP is black problems not Culture, hip Hop has never been a black people culture, there are so many black people who don't even listen to Hip Hop, it has never been a culture, it's a system that is used by the evil greedy of Hollywood to destroy black Culture... EMINEM he's just a good writer that's all,but he does not represent the struggles of black people in the form of Hip Hop that is what Dr Umar is referring to.

    • @omarionbroom9999
      @omarionbroom9999 9 місяців тому +1

      So what? Talent doesn't have a skin color, that's all that should matter. Why does it always have to be a racial thing? I mean come on, the man grew up in Detroit and was around black people his whole life, he may not have had the same struggles as them but he struggled, and they accepted him. Also you're really discrediting by saying he's just a good writer and that's it, he has a lot of content and story telling in his music, and can easily go toe to toe with anybody. He also always gives props and flowers to all the other rappers he looked up to and idolize in just about almost every song, he always pays homage.

Because the real majority of black people will tell you otherwise 💯.
