Titus 3:9 instructs us thusly " but avoid foolish questions and genealogies and contentions and strivings about the law for they are unprofitable and vain". We seriouly need to quit this arguing and fighting. It is exactly what the serpent of old desires, for us to be so focused on all of these many different "facts" and such, that we cannot focus on glorifying the Lord Yeshua who is The Christ. We get so fixated on what word means what and names and meanings and bloodlines and "spiritualities" and other craziness. Or was it without cause that The Holy One Himself said " love one another as I have loved you"? And I hope we are not walking around condemnimg people and throwing around what we think we know and trying to impress people by this way because God will only see to it that all your wisdom is brought to nothing. I believe I may seen someone quote 1 Corinthians and I figure while you are doing all that you should remember 1 Corinthians 1:18-19: 18"for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of God 19 for it is written I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent". And also in verse 20 to 24 it says 20 " where is the wise where is the scribe where is the disputer of this world hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world 21 for after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe 22 for the Jews require a sign and the greeks seek after wisdom 23 but we preach Christ crucified unto the Jews a stumbling block and unto the greeks foolishness 24 but unto them which are called both Jews and Greeks Christ The Power of God and The wisdom of God". People of God we need to get real and love and respect each other as Christ has intended. Also for the record, Yeshua is YAHWEH.
The only thing I am saying we still have to keep his laws and commandments 2 John 2: 3 We are sure that we know Christ if we obey his commandments. 4 The person who says, “I know him,” but doesn’t obey his commandments is a liar. The truth isn’t in that person. 5 But whoever obeys what Christ says is the kind of person in whom God’s love is perfected. That’s how we know we are in Christ. 6 Those who say that they live in him must live the same way he lived.
