Ok watched some vids of yours. OMG my dad was an engineer for Northrup, before that hellicrafters, before that zenith, and before that college. He was MAD about RF. I still have boxes of thise connectors and filters and grey painted RF meters! He (my dad) designed the guidance systems on missiles. But never stopped being a total RF nerd. For my fourteenth BDay he built me a 20 watt CB with adjustable output. And firm instructions on not EVER going over 7.5 watts. Yeah I didnt listen, caused alot of bent needles, and pops soldered a resister in place permanently so it would never go over 5 watts again....Me 14 with a big gun, levels the field before it even begins...lol. That was my Dad. Power without limits till after the catastrophe. Best wishes Radio folks. I still have a multiband transmitter receiver he gave me, But it transmits on ANY freq and im to inexperienced to not get yelled at by the FAA again...yeah that happened when i was 16...the"VAN" with the round and weird antennas came into out neighborhood and I almost got caught. So never again. and so now its 40 yrs later and I still have that dang multifrequency/band minifridge sized thing. Too attached to memories to let it go. to nervy to ever plug it in and set it all up.
