- Our miniature donkey Sebastian pulling a horse drawn cultivator in our garden. Sebastian is a mini but he is still pulling a full-sized cultivator with 5 shovels, and doing a pretty good job. If you want to share the story of our amazing donkeys with young readers, buy the new book "Rosie's New Harness" from our web store or Amazon. www.anarchyacres.com/rosies-ne...

I had 2 burros as a kid. They ran down to the road to greet me when I came home from school. This is wonderful to see. Thank you!
It feels good to care for such amazing animals ...
That's wonderful!!
Great to see the ploughing, working with nature.
I love Donkey!
The donkey's slow walk is great pace for cultivating. Nice quiet work.
Good size animal for a small plot.
I just got thrust into the idea of having a mini donkey, I've had mammoth donkeys in the past that I've ridden. This is such a good job for a mini donkey if you don't have a cart. So cute good job!
I did a lot of Natural Horsemanship exercises, and learned all I could about driving. You start ground driving in a safe place, then start dragging a tire, etc. Baby steps.
That plow is known as a five foot cultivator. My first job out of high school using one with my mule Pat. 1961. plowing rows of scrubs at woodhowel nusery Bristol Va.
Planet Junior cultivator.
What are scrubs?
Sebastian is the man
he a good lil boy.
Parabéns pelo trabalho, e como lida com o animal com calma

thanks ill have to make some for my Team of jacks that are in Training
How’s it doing now?
Is Sebastian the donkey? Then Rosie is driving !
Were did you get the swiss Type collar?
The collars are all homemade. I started with this article, www.fao.org/docrep/v0600t/v0600T0j.htm. For the padding I have been using wool felt or old saddle pads. Get the wooden collar shaped as close to the animal as you can, then pile on the padding and tack or staple it in place. You are basically upholstering the wooden collar. Use a strong wood like ash or white oak and put your hardware on any way you like. Good luck.
The donkey walk better than the lead.
رائع 👪👍
What is the row spacing?
I aim for 2', or sometimes 32" for corn. I do it by eye and I'm not very careful about it.
Oh no what I am doing?
U
Still you use donkeys to work for you ...now day..i mean?

Better than fossil fueled tractors for the small homestead.
