2023 Lifetime Achievement recipient, Nature Inspiration Award-James Duncan

James Duncan, from Balmoral, Manitoba, is the recipient of the Canadian Museum of Nature’s 2023 Nature Inspiration Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Over his long career, his many achievements have included zoologist, conservation manager, owl researcher, author, professor, and mentor. In 2018, he established Discover Owls, to introduce the importance of conservation to young audiences. So far, he has given over 500 live-owl presentations, reaching close to 30,000 children and adults.
