- Here is a pretty little piece by Michael Conway Baker. Remembrances, op. 130. This is from a recital at the Shepherd School of Music on January 23, 2014.
Featuring William VerMeulen on horn, and Thomas Jaber on piano.
One of the only horn players who truly mimics singers. There’s so few out there who even strive to do it, let alone actually achieve it.
Exquisite!! No gymnastics or hunting calls. This is where the beauty of the horn really shines, literally!
Beautiful Music! Beautifully played! Thank you. I enjoyed this!
Loved how beautifully balanced the piano (Thomas Jaber- great job) and the horn are in this piece. Each instrument so important to the overall lyrical quality of the piece. Loved hearing this this morning. Thank you for the gift of music.
This could bring a lot of young kids to take up the French horn. And cheesemoning is spot on about no hunting call technique. Superb!
Bill does a nice job on this.
Fantastic piece! (And performance of course :) ) Is there possibility to get the score of this wonderful music? Thanks in advance!
Konrad Gołda hi Konrad xD
Anybody else unable not to see Stephen Root playing the horn? No disrespect to VerMeulen - he’s amazing.
