Mineral Hill Middletown, PA Was just here today !! not that secret many just don;t care to find it but it's surprisingly easy if you enter at the right spot. Nice finds! I wasn't able to get where you were yet since it was 93 and I had to wear shorts (Summer foliage) but tomorrow I'm going back- there's also a huge erosion pit by the creek that is very exposed with some good finds!
Hi David! Thank you for the comment. Mineral Hill is a great place to rock hound. I hope you had success in your hunts. Stay hydrated, and all the best to you - Paul
Mineral Hill is over picked. I find tons of it in Chester Creek. Ranging from white gray to Blue some very dark blues. Also some massive aquamarine crystals with the largest crystal being over 2 lb. I pulled 50 crystals out of one pocket last Summer
Hi Maggie! Thanks for checking out my video. I think the green is some type of beryl, however they are very crumbly. Thank you for the comment and please check back soon - Paul
I been here 1000s of times
On the other side of the hill it’s all amazonite

Any good places to go near Dallas, Pennsylvania?
Are those green crystals beryl? Or emerald?

99.9% of beryl in southeast pa is aquamarine of very low grade. Often looking more green hue then blue
It’s mostly apatite there but you will find beryl embedded in the moonstone 😊
That first moonstone - could that have been chipped by indians for cutting flakes?
