  • It was on an afternoon in 2012 when Joe "Kastaway" Kulis caught a decent-sized yellow perch, but decided to throw it back.
"Throw away fish like that, and you know you got some good fishing going," he declared.
Those were the days when Cleveland was a yellow perch destination. Thirty-fish limits per person were common.
    But now?
"If they spent all day out there, four guys in a boat couldn't catch four fish," Mike Fedorka, owner of Shine's Bait and Tackle, lamented.

Come on man everyone knows that zebra muscles " invasive spices from China and other tanker boats" have made it impossible to catch perch in the Lake.
Then let's talk about commercial over fishing ?
This is just another example of attacking your food supply!

Over fishing, both commercial and sport killed it coinciding with bad spawn years. Add in pelagic changes due to invasive species and.. well, empty buckets

I'd love to take Sara fishing with me. Now that, would be a catch. :)
