Great video! You have a very nice kayak setup! I'm wanting to get into kayak fishing soon. I live in Palacios. Hopefully we could go out fishing sometime. I'm new to the area and would like to find the fishing holes.
@@BriantreVino5 Thank you sir for the comment and thanks for watching!…. A friend and I are actually taking a trip down there this Saturday… as far as fishing holes … google maps is a great way to find areas to explore and fish. Just look for public places to launch “ boat ramps and such “ then find the closest marsh area that looks like it has structure like oyster beds and grass line! Good luck and tight lines!🎣
X-Mas Bay was so beautiful yesterday, May 23rd. We limited out on 27 3/4" Tournament Reds on cut mullet while out in the Old Town Salty's Kayaks. No winds, clear water & tons of bait! We were fishing 4' guts. I'm really surprised we didn't see or catch Specs. The Shad were so thick you could see what looked like deep water but it was just full of Shad & Mullet. Holy Crap it was a great day! Ever since I started using live finger mullet, we've Limited out everytime! If I throw paddle tails, spoons or you name it in that same gut? Nothing! They want what's in there.
That’s awesome brother! Sounds like an amazing day! I haven’t been out to Christmas in a while… got a lot of new areas I’m about to go explore! “Goat island “ around bolivar & “port O’Connor”. Tight line’s brother and be safe!
Sorry about that. The intro was taken in front of the headlights of my truck. “But just the intro!”As I stated in the video, I am new to the whole video and UA-cam world and I don’t have that much experience. But I AM working on getting better. Thanks for the comment!

@yoink_fishing it can be really good sometimes depending on tide movement and water levels! Thanks for watching and the subscription!
Do you night fish the dock lights?
Sometimes @ sea isle pier but I usually don’t catch much other than dinks! Trout mostly!
Let’s get it. The only way you get good at UA-cam is to keeping making these videos! Sorry gonna have to ask you to fish more.
That's the plan!!!! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
