Bro these vids are awesome. What I really like is how long and relaxed your style is. Don’t get me wrong. Quick tips are good but your vids are more, make a cup of tea and set aside some time to really savour and become engrossed in the subject 👌
As a "ground" cinematographer, and new drone owner (first flight tomorrow), I have to say that this is the most professional drone tutorial I've watched...and I'm sure I've exceeded 200 of them. The information is well-presented in a calm, classy and dynamic style. I subscribed, and I'll look for you on other platforms as well.
wow so beautiful awesome scenes iam here forever dear🌸🌸🙏🙏 You bring out the best in other people with your talent and awesome presentation Your creative potential seems limitless, all the best and have a nice day dear sweet friend
Hello from California. I just want to say thank you for your videos, I recently purchased an Inspire 1 for some of my work and your videos have greatly reduced my learning curve. Confidence is so important and I have had to learn that through my first few flights (I have 6 so far) hearing you reinforce this point in this video really makes sense to me. Your work is very appreciated and I wish the best for your future projects.
You have beautiful scenes to film. Who had given me my city, Recife / Brazil, had these natural beauties that exist at his disposal. lucky you! But beyond the scenes, you have technique and talent. I'll get there one day. congratulations!
I have a lot to learn. I've only had my Spark for a week and in the hot Texas summer, it is not ideal flying conditions. Looking forward to the fall and better temperatures to enjoy my drone. Looking forward to watching some of your other videos.
Great Video tutorial - goes right in line with your previous instructional videos. Just getting started in the aerial video services. My expertise currently lies in safety video surveys of construction sites - not much "talent" required for this, but hopefully I can put in some creative cuts with my P4 as confidence grows. Keep up the great tutorials - more flying examples would be great - always love seeing creative work!
Hello, congratulations on your channel. I would like to know how I can create patterns with symbols or other conventions of Scenes and Sequences. Is there a method to schematize camera movements and the drone path? Thank you.
Couple of ways : 1) Fly in calm conditions, low wind. 2) Fly backwards more away from your subject, gimbal down at 30 degrees. 3) Use a Scope like I do in my videos (black bars top and bottom). 4) Fly slower 7 m/s. Hope that helps 👍🏻
That track your on about is from my Canada True North video as it has my wind SFX overlaid. Be careful with Copyright laws. Both the Sound Effect & Track are licensed. Music is from MusicBed.com and sound effects from JunlgleAudio.net
Very nice locations and footage. Solid tutorial. The 6-pack of polar pro filters is comprehensive except it's missing the ND64, which I've used more than the 32 and 16. Not many opportunities to use anything less than a 16 if you want low shutter speeds.
Thank you; top tutorial. I have a Phantom 1 with no gimbal or camera. I'm thinking of securing an action camera to the drone and attempting some limited aerial photography using video and time lapse. How successful can this be without a smart phone and DJI settings in the drone? Mike in Oz
Man And Drone We took my friends phantom 4 out north of Juneau Alaska today. Tried your tips. Footage looked good. Drone didn't kill us or end up in the ocean.
Good stuff here..As a newbie drone guy, I'm always looking for stuff to improve my videos...Now I just need the time to practice, practice and practice some more...
Hey Chris, Thanks. To be honest I fly carefully so that blades don't appear in picture. You could also fly backwards then reverse the footage in post ;)
Very good, awesome shots and tips, thanks!! :) I liked the "Pyramiedenkogel" you filmed near the Wörthersee cause I live 5 min from there :) Do you have some tips for planning apps for IOS too?
Hey thanks, nice place to live! IOS apps... well you can still get 'Plan it' for photographers on both platforms. I just use that really as it covers most things like sunrise and sunset 👍🏻
Which Drone? I had the problem with the Phantom 3's and 4's. Bring the drone down, power off, power on after a minute or so, re-calibrate compass, launch again.. usually works for me.
I was using the phantom 3, now im using a mavic but still the same problem, ill try the power off and then on again method, thanks very much. Keep up the great work
Hi there One of the best tips I've found on UA-cam, SUBSCRIBED! One question, what Apple software that you use for planning the shots? Didn't see it clearly, is it planet photograph ?
Excellent and informative! I notice you like 30fps. I've been shooting 60fps @ 1/120, 1080P. Would you recommend I shoot 2.7K @ 30fps, 1/60 for improved output quality which is exported at say 24fps, 1080?(P3A) Cheers!
Hi Greg, thanks for checking the tutorial out. 2.7K is advantageous if you find your composition on some shots is out and you think it could be improved. Say you are filming a person walking and you frame them in the middle but would prefer it if they were actually on the left slightly. 2.7K would allow you to scale down and move it around within that 1080x1920 window. Output quality is determined by bitrate on H.264 so where's the footage going? If UA-cam 1080 @ 25Mbps. This tutorial is 1080p @ 25Mbps VBR Pass 2. High Profile 5.1 @ Max Quality.
i have the Dji Phantom 3 SE (with 4k camera) but the quality of my shots isn't even close to yours.. how do you get such HD videos?! We have the same camera don't we?
Hi, well D-Log was better on the P3 than P4.. but neither are true LOG formats. Using 'None' is usually the better choice for the Phantom range to maintain as much information as possible, Cinelike and Art okay too.
I have a phantom 3 standard. I would like to do time lapse but when I go into the photo mode it only says single burst aeb, and timed shot ( which I have tried and just takes like 20 photos) we have called dji and they were no help. Can you tell me what is wrong @man with drone
Hello Man! Pretty straightforward explanation and very useful video. How do you usually find your customers? Or do they find you via your website? thank you!
Fantastic !!!!
This video deserves much views that it has, absolutely great work!
Cheers Jose!

One of the best drone tips and tricks videos so far. So stoked you cover the filters as well. Really nice job.
Thanks Wayne 👍🏻

how can eliminate the proppellers efect with de son ligth on my videos when the drone go up...thanks
Couple of ways : 1) Fly in calm conditions, low wind. 2) Fly backwards more away from your subject, gimbal down at 30 degrees. 3) Use a Scope like I do in my videos (black bars top and bottom). 4) Fly slower 7 m/s. Hope that helps 👍🏻
perfect...its clear for mi...Might see video and my comment that I should improve ... many thanks
Amazing intro
I think I even used the same track on my last video that you did on one of yours... Really you are inspiring lots of new drone pilots!
That track your on about is from my Canada True North video as it has my wind SFX overlaid. Be careful with Copyright laws. Both the Sound Effect & Track are licensed. Music is from MusicBed.com and sound effects from JunlgleAudio.net
Can you give the name of music ? Thanks!

You are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great tips thanks :)
Love the location in orbit mode
Great piece. Did you post process the blades out in any of this footage? Or at 14:50 more specifically?
Hey Chris, Thanks. To be honest I fly carefully so that blades don't appear in picture. You could also fly backwards then reverse the footage in post ;)
Hi sir, What video effects did you use on 16:24.?
What settings and style are you using
AWSOME AWESOME AWESOME VIDEO. What is the opening and closing music plz?? the last part with the cut/jump scene was ever so EPIC!!!
Thanks for the kind words Maximilan. Opening Music is by 'Audio Pizza - EPIC Adventure' closing music is 'Fractures by Kari Siguardson'
congratulations! Very good.
Thanks!
Wooo great!!!
Thank you for sharing...!!!
Welcome!
Amazing

Interesting video!
Super.. Bravo
😎👍🏻
Excellent video, how do i keep the horizon horizontal, sometimes my drone is slightly off and this makes the whole shot look slanting
Keep up the great work
Thanks man.. this would be really helpfull for a drone noob like me.
Cool, few more coming soon! 👍🏻
Brilliant work - I have tried my P3 Pro in various settings but never as good as this. Is it originally shot in 4K?
Hi Tim, yeah mostly shot in 4k 30fps from the P3 Pro.. and then downscaled to 1080p for the tutorial. Cheers
In 14:18 you are filming in 4k@30fps, how can I film with this setting on my Phantom 3 Pro? The only option for 4k is 24fps on the app
Choose UHD 3840x2160 then you will have the option for 30fps. That's what i shoot.
Very useful information, I loved the video! What drone are you using for these shots?
Thanks! These shots are just with the DJI Phantom 3.
realy awsome video, keep up your great work! :) What is the name of this Musik in the beginning of your Video?
Thanks Tobias! The music is by Audio Pizza, I think it's called 'The Epic' could be wrong. Theres a selection of them over at AudioJungle.
thank you :)
Thanks, very good!
Cheers! 👍🏻
Great video. Thank you. I just got a phantom 3 standard. I'm having trouble uploading footage to UA-cam,footage is not in 2.7 k but. 720 or 1020.
Hi, try my 'Best Settings Tutorial' : ua-cam.com/video/VUlsQ57_vO4/v-deo.html
Man And Drone thanks I Will
Thinking of buying a Phantom 3 so this was really helpful. What is the name of the music used from 13:50 to 15:10?
Cheers! Do it! 🚁Don't have the song name to hand but if you look up 'Audio Pizza' on JungleAudio they have it for licensing ;)
It took me a while to find it but that track is Epic Adventure from AudioPizza.
AZ Geek Thank you so much!
Hi there
One of the best tips I've found on UA-cam, SUBSCRIBED!
One question, what Apple software that you use for planning the shots? Didn't see it clearly, is it planet photograph ?
Thank you. It's an App called 'Plan It for photographers' on both IOS and Android. Cheers
Man And Drone Excellent! Thank you so much for your guidance! Greatly appreciated! I'm looking fwd to your next epic video!
i have the Dji Phantom 3 SE (with 4k camera) but the quality of my shots isn't even close to yours.. how do you get such HD videos?! We have the same camera don't we?
Very nice!!
Ta 👍🏻
whats the music used in the intro? thank you for this very informative video good job!!
router james did you ever find out ?
no still waiting for the response
router james audiopizza- epic adventure ... found it in comments below
Michael Holzwarth thank you very much! ill check it
how do you make the determination to use D Log or None?
Hi, well D-Log was better on the P3 than P4.. but neither are true LOG formats. Using 'None' is usually the better choice for the Phantom range to maintain as much information as possible, Cinelike and Art okay too.
I have a phantom 3 standard. I would like to do time lapse but when I go into the photo mode it only says single burst aeb, and timed shot ( which I have tried and just takes like 20 photos) we have called dji and they were no help. Can you tell me what is wrong @man with drone
@man and drone**
Some great tips there. Are you based in Vancouver?
Thanks. Ahh no NZ. but perhaps Alberta next Summer
What's the music from the intro?
Audio Pizza - EPIC Adventure
I have flown in -20c whilst light snowfall, it looks nice, but the condensation and the build of ice in very little time is dangerous
Hello Man! Pretty straightforward explanation and very useful video. How do you usually find your customers? Or do they find you via your website? thank you!
Thanks, usually they find me through all social medias. 👍🏻
Great idea. Is this the "DJI project" you mentioned in your personal vlog?
Hi Mike, not sure what your referring to?
very nice video
