The last scene. I love it how Odo is expecting fake pity from Quark and Quark shows him compassion by not treating him like he's simply a dead man walking but engages in their old game and slips in that he's looking forward to Odo coming back.
Odo and Quark, what a duo. There are some terrible things I might wish upon my worst friend, but upon my best enemy? I wish only success ( if only that I might have the chance to thwart it).
@@Yuurei21I don’t know which episode it was, but there WAS definitely an episode where Quark stood up for Odo against an angry mob. Definitely somewhere during the Dominion war story arc.
One of my favorite moments with the two of them is the end of "One Little Ship" where they both gaslight Bashir and O'Brian that they are shorter then they used to be.
Quark and Odo are the definition of frenemy. Can't stand each other but would rather deal with the pain in the ass you know than a new and unpredictable one. They have a begrudging respect for each other.
For me the episode that really made Quark shine is Siege of AR-558. He teaches Nog a very important lesson about war and human nature. The very moment he guns down the Jem'Hadar that is going to kill him and Nog, speaks volumes.
I know this is old but i don't think Quark is un-Ferengi . He is Ferengi at core but a good person also, he shows how much breath room for moral his culture have

The things that alway stuck with me about Qwark were a couple of things other characters said about him. 1. His mother tells Rom that Qwark has always been generous with her allowance. Turns out she didn't need it, but still, it shows how he feels despite all of their bickering. 2. Brunt points out that Qwark sold to the Bajoran Resistance at cost, going so far as to insist that he checked the books when Qwark said that he sold "just above cost" for a small profit.
Owners of Star Trek could have made millions if they'd just make a series that wasnt so focused on the Federation. Like a Ferengi or Klingon series. New characters and actors. Hell i could come up with a video game based on Klingon or Ferengi as the MC.
how amazing would a game be where, as a ferengi, you had to choose between making profit or the "good" ending? maybe different ways to make profit? different gruesome ways you die because you screwed over the wrong person in trying to gain profit? that sounds so fun!

I think in the episode Odo, Quark actually stands up him for when a group is gossiping about Odo.

"What can you do?"
"I'm not sure but this seems to be the year for Ferengi breaking tradition so let's give Commando Quark a go, shall we?"
What episode was this from?

"I'm charging by the head and you do have a head... usually" 😁
And could grow another head or two being a shapeshifter
Odo and Quarks mutual respect and bromance was the best
If Odo and Kira ever got married and used human customs, Quark would be Odo's best man.
Bajoran customs
Or he'd give him a better honour: letting him charge above market price for the catering fee.
Quark was about to throw down against a Jem Hadar to get Odo back.

Another great one is when he was working for his cousin & he was to broker that arms deal. He earned a great deal of respect from Sisko.
Leeta at 2:15 sounded just like my runt Mini Australian Shepherd when my wife leaves for work in the morning…
Quark and Odo were the best of frenamies.
Quark//Rom//Nog...the most un-Ferengi of all Ferengi in ascending order.

Quark is just the best. Kudos to DS9 for redeeming and redefining the Ferengi in such an amazing way. Such good writing.
Simply the best character, full stop.
Quark, Rom and Nog are the heart of DS9. My cute, creedy Ferengi boys. 🥹
What, they sucked! Brunt....FCA was the heart of the show!!!
Quark is one of the 5 reasons I love DS9
What are the other 4? Garak, Dukat, Odo and Kira?
Kira, Odo, Jadzia and Dukat
Great scenes you chose.
Thank you.

Rom came a long way from trying to kill Quark to stay behind to protect him
That is his plan. Be a nice brother to get his guard down and then boom. He gets the bar.
They're more alike to their father than they thought.
Some many moments are missing, but loved it nonetheless
Smooch
DS9 is the best written and acted Star Trek show, and one of the best Sci Fi shows ever. It's Ronald D Moore at his best.
how do you make this video, and not include the clip where Quark confronts Odo in odos quarters after ransacking the place?
Rose you got to make a Bazzi - Mine meme edit of this
Kira Nerys has a taste for really dull, dreary men.
Ha the way you cliped the videos together makes it seem like odo caught a std from the female founder...lol
LOL He got the Space HIV!!!!
