I have been dealing with a herniated disc L5 and L4 is DDD, as well as sciatica for a few years now! I have always been strong, fit and relatively “slim”. I’ve been doing yoga for quite a few years as well as distance walking. My sciatic nerve damage has been weak and my leg shakes a lot at times. I started doing your 28 day pilates exercises now for almost 3 weeks. I have to tell you that I am seeing and feeling a difference in my strength and healing! Thank you so much. I have found one in the trash.... as a bus driver this helped me immensly...i was at the point of not being able to breathe properly. After squizingnthis thing for hours my back feels alot netter and i can take deep breaths again....

Hi! It can help to place a small folded towel underneath your lower back. Additionally, holding light 1-2 pound weights can be helpful during this exercise!
Hi there! It's difficult to say without seeing you, but a thicker mat might help (or you can try putting a folded towel/blanket underneath your side). You might also find it beneficial to try bringing your legs slightly in front of you. 🙂
That exercise is challenging and calls so many stabilizing and core muscles into play! Keep doing the routine and practicing and you will see progress in your strength. Trust the process!

I have difficulty with the exercise when you are like a boat with the two feet and hands in ring. I just can not ho so up!! What is going on?
