Because there are horrible people in the equine world! I had a mental breakdown in college. I went to an equine college. I have NEVER met such HORRIBLE people since in my life. Got anxiety back then and i will never be the same person i was before attending that college. Biggest regret of my life

That was really profound 💔 and I hope it really helps. I wasn't fully aware of Riders Minds until I watched and appreciated this. I've personally been through some darker times on and off, generally manifesting as panic attacks. I had help through the NHS stress course to help me learn to cope. One of my favourite general life skills / coping strategies is to focus on helping other people up and being grateful for what I have and for my personal achievements to keep out of the drama that can be so negative and draining. I'd definitely say I'm a work in progress :)

A tragic and yet inspiring story of how this charity was born. So sad that it took the life and career of Matthew Wright but how courageous and strong is his wife! I’m sure he is watching down on all his friends and family wishing that he had been well enough to stay with them and not leave, but so so proud of how they have overcome such a shock and loss and thrived beyond it, to still support others. I am in awe of their work and bravery. I have shared this charity info and will try to do what little I can to spread the word.

I am so dreadfully sorry for you and your family's loss
..I've attempted suicide a couple of times due to my domestic abusive relationship....my horses have helped me rebuild my life, although it's been 12 years since I saw my sons who were poisoned by their father and his family. Its stopped me riding, feeling like doing anything with them etc but I keep pulling myself together and now have a good life...i have counselled others through my horses to heal them, which in turn heals me ..if you need to know what goes through our heads at that time please contact me as I may be able to give you answers and peace xxx

I was a Groom in the equine world for 12yrs,have been around horses for about 30yrs,i come from a broken home and 22yrs ago i was in a serious RTA and got PTSD and depression from it all.it was the horse that got me back up on my feet and the horse taught me to live in the moment Not in the Past or Future and this was done with learning Natural Horsemanship and yes it give you a Language to talk to your Horses, but i found the the British equine world would not Except this N-Horsemanship,if you know this way of working the Horse there is a big benefit for the human and Horse, the Horse is the TEACHER and we are just the STUDENT,but to work with the Horse like this you have to look at your self GOOD and Hard,it all about LEADERSHIP and not being a BOSS,we are the ULTINATE PREDATOR, think about that one !

Hi Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes, First I like to give you a little advice about grooming, it is better to groom with both hands, you have to groom with the hand that it is near the horse when you face the tale. Now about the Big Problem! The people want a different colour Rosset! They want to win! If not this can bring them down, or lose the horse!.
I Ride Teach, and Train Horses with Problems, But I don't Compete!, I don't want to win, This are my books "Healing Horses the Classical Way" and "The Art of Lunging and Work In-Hand.
