Thanks for helping me make a decision. I have bought other brands of led bulbs with not much improvement but based off your video I believe I will go with the X2’s!
Great video, much appreciated. A while back I picked up the S1's and I found that they were worse than the stock halogen's (2016 Ford Fusion) so I went back with the halogen's. Just recently I came across some L2's at a surplus store that I grabbed for cheap (not installed yet) but after doing some research and having found your video I think that I will get the X2's for the low beams and throw the L2's in the fog lights. Thanks again for the informative video, it helped make my decision.
I have had halogen’s fora few years now. They are super scary to drive in total darkness on desert roads. I bought these for low and high. They definitely bright! People must want a portable sun for headlights that fry tiny bugs that cross the beam.
donno what your talking about these s1's are 10x brighter than my stock halogen bulbs. i didnt notice any diff from the s1 to the l2's. i think its the shape, design of your headlights honestly.
I concur I'm going to guess it has to to with the application. I have ran L2, X2, and S1. I have found the S1 in a 9008 in an 11 F150 application are as bright as the X2 in a 9005 12 explorer with projectors and 07 edge high beams. The L2s in the H11 07 Edge low beam, are the least bright of the ones I've used but still a vast improvement over Halogen bulbs.
Thank you I had a friend recommend Sealight last year, and got me sold. I bought some for my tahoe, but it was stolen. Now I have a suburban, and the halogen lights are slightly more powerful than a 1970s flashlight. I ordered some sealight LEDs today, but the ebay auction didn't mention what model they were. I'm assuming S1 Thank you forbtaking the time to make this video, everyone buying these wonders the same thing
Before I see this video, I got the s1 for my 2012 pruis. It was worst then the stocks, don't the roads at all especially the roads are not in total darkness. I'm thinking about the x2 but not available so I might look for a different brands. Thanks for the video.
It is not plug and go as advertised the lock setting is not the same as the original one on the suburban which makes for a hard change because you have to disassemble the entire light process to switch out
I installed the scopeArc C lights and while they do fit perfectly to the original headlamp housing and produce no error codes they are only maybe 30 to 40% brighter than stock halogen lights.
I like the idea of the x2, but bulbs with fans are a serious concern for failure. I don't know if it's worth the risk. Question is: how long will the fans last before you're having to buy new ones.
It should work...you may need to zip tie the dangling converter or just get the sealight xf1 version for fog lights without the power converter box, plug n play
Could you imagine if someone took your stool while your were out doing your light test. Idk it would make me laugh thinking i came back to no stool. Like jus missing with no where to be found. lol
I just put S1s in my 2017 Civic Ex-T, and they look fine to me. I got the low-beam/high-beam combo pack. I also like that the S1s don't need a fan. Maybe I'll try the X2s one day. Low beam brightness looks close to halogen in my car, but the high beams seem to be brighter.
@@TeslaFanz being in Texas and this time of year I'm not sure I would need it. But this winter, very high possibility. I did add it to my cart so I can keep up with it. Thanks!
I cant believe you said the S1s werent any brighter than halogens??? Beestleds ive used right up there with firehawks... Leds with fans are just that a fan that adds alot of possible problems. i have a video on D3BTrapline. too bad he didnt put his money where his mouth is
I bought the S1 for a 2005 Accord, 2007 Highlander, and 2016 CR-V. These all use 9006 bulbs in a reflector housing. Very noticeable improvement over halogen. For the price of definitely recommend. So I bought the S1 H11 for a 2007 Pilot which uses a projector for low beam. Not impressed at all. They're white looking but not bright, especially in inclement weather. Given the supposed LUX rating they are a disappointment. But based on your tests I'll give the L2 or X2 a try as they're on sale.
For those having trouble seeing the difference, click between 7:43 (S1), 10:20 (L2), and 12:40 (X2). The road shows it well.
Thank you for making this. Shout out to Sealight, pay this man.
I have the S1s and I’m very happy with them. For me, they’re perfect. A lot brighter than the stock bulbs.
S1s are great in reflector housings, but not bright enough for projectors. They’re average. I want more pop.
UA-cam compression makes it harder to see details, but I can see the difference.
I just put a set of X2’s in. I love these.

How did the L2s perform on your fusion compared to the halogens?

Good job man, u really worked on it, appreciate it
Very nice and helpful video, thanks for taking your time to help others. 👍
Just ordered s1 28000 lumins, they're going in projector. I hope they're bright.
I would adjust the light level 4 inches higher at the door's second-panel level so that the light can see farther on the road.
Thanks, great info. Much appreciated.

I agree.. I've got the S1s in my 2015 Canyon and they are waaaaay brighter than the stock halogen. I guess it depends on the vehicle.
@@TeslaFanz They probably have reflector housings. S1s are average in projector housings.

Why do they make these different prodict lines with absolutely no description on the differences?
Thank you

Prius has H11 size try the xenopower x2 or laxmas L2

Great video!

What about the current X1 H4 replacements from SEALIGHT? I have a set of them coming.
X1 is same as x2 just bulb size is different
Did the X2s last or did they fail? It's been a couple years.
Still going
Have the S1 currently and they are not bright at all. They don’t project far.
Same here..I just installed mine today was disappointed!
It is not plug and go as advertised the lock setting is not the same as the original one on the suburban which makes for a hard change because you have to disassemble the entire light process to switch out
Can you adjust the beam pattern on the x2 model?
Yes
Just got a set of the S1 and mine are at least 2 times brighter than halogen
Either your halogens were dull, or you have reflector housings.
I installed the scopeArc C lights and while they do fit perfectly to the original headlamp housing and produce no error codes they are only maybe 30 to 40% brighter than stock halogen lights.
Did you need to align the beam pattern after installing the LED bulbs?
Beam pattern did not need alignment, but yes they are adjustable
I like the idea of the x2, but bulbs with fans are a serious concern for failure. I don't know if it's worth the risk. Question is: how long will the fans last before you're having to buy new ones.
Manufacter stated 50,000 hours
..so pretty much h lifetime of vehicle
I don’t think it needs a fan they are bright yet ok to touch. The heat sink is warm but not that hot
@@TeslaFanz
How are other drivers affected by the x2? I don't like blinding other drivers.
Thank you for the comparison tho!
Mines only lasted 2 year and noticeably gotten dimmer after year 1
