2023 Corvette Z06 in Ocean City

Our friend Mike Furman played golf today with Chuck Valentini who is the manager of the Paint Shop at the Corvette Assembly Plant. Mike says he was surprised when Chuck pulled up in an Elkhart Lake Blue 2023 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 Performance Package. Here is a quick video as the car drove away...

GMs official spec of 10.6 @ 131 is reliable, and usually conservative

The official time from Chevy is 10.6 seconds. These are pre-production cars and no one outside of GM has driven one except for Jay Leno.

Sounds underwhelming....of course to be fair it was only ambling along.
With my current C7 Z06 vert (and C6 grand sport verts I previously owned) I pulled fuse to get better sound with open butterflies 24/7. Not sure the same applies to C8s. But a more aggressive sound is needed for my taste. Yes I know it revs insanely well and into very high RPM range but still..I'd require a meaner sound. 😎
