Yeah, my spectrum is the construction side of things, I love that... and I love the Hurricane as it gets little love or respect. So - I will build this baby... eventually and will use your video series as a lighthouse to watch the pitfalls. Thanks again!

Well, my mind's made up, thanks to this review. I have two kits to choose from: Pacific Coast's 1/32 scale offering and this one. After watching all parts of the review I found, this is the kit I want.

Good series for this kit...Most of my kits are 1/32 WW2...I'm looking for a Hurricane 1/32 and this kit looks like the best one after watching this review series...and then I find that Trumpeter do a 1/24 Hurricane for a few quid more and I'm back into research before buy mode again...Doh!...Anyway, I've thoroughly enjoyed this review series...so big thanks to Doogs Models for it...Brilliant!

Great wrap up. I like your thoughts on which side of the primer fence does one fall on. That in itself would really make a huge difference in a person's decision on a given kit.
My thoughts on this type of review... I like it. Honest, plenty of information and would definitely help me in making a decision on whether or not I would buy a kit.

Great video series. I really wanted this kit to fly as I am trying to build and paint a Battle of Britain roster from both sides, and I would like them all to be in 1/32. This looks like it would be too fiddly for my tastes. How about the Revell 1/32 Hurrican? Do you know anything about it (other than the fact that it's an old kit)?

Very well said. As much as I love the Hurricane, I love a great model more, so will pass on this one. I am tired of struggling through dogs and after 50 years of collecting and building models I think I will wait this one out. Come on Tamiya, make me a Hurricane 1.

Maybe add a panel backing piece from Evergreen sheet?

Just finishing this kit and its very good if you don't mind a little work.
Personally I think if you want a really impressive 1/32 Hurricane this is it. It looks amazing!
I really disagree with your summary of this kit.

I was only replying to your take on the kit with my own experience.
Sorry, I meant no offence my friend.

I made this and found it the worst kit ever. I actually threw it at the wall and went out and bought the new revell version 1/32 scale

Dear Sir: most of your reviews are negative! You do the modeling world a disservice. Why, let me explain your comments may make many modelers not buy these kits. This could cause some of the kit makers to lose sales and be forced out of business. Results less kits to chose from.I as a eighty two year modeler, who has been modeling since I was nine years old. I do not mind having to put a little extra work into a subject. I am thankful for any new kit, especially if the subject has not been produced before. Try to be a little less critical, and may God bless you.

And people like you are why we have 60 year old revell kits being reboxed and sold today. Some of us want to know what's wrong with a kit before we purchase it because most reviews are bought. A guy willing to tear into a kit point by point is infinitely more useful to me than a guy jerking off in a corporate sponsored video. I don't want 100 flavours of shit, it's jut not worth buying any of it at that point. I want people to act just like Matt is and tearing these sub par kits apart so the companies will lose sales on poor quality kits and invest more in fewer better quality kits.
