I was never a big NFL guy.. but when Favre and Peterson and that group of receivers were on the same team, the Vikings became my team. Such a great year. Favre is a tough, tough dude. Too bad he wasn't 100% healthy, but you wouldn't know by looking at his stats or watching the plays

When Madden & Montana retired, my interest in NFL diminished. The glamor boys most announcers concentrate on are OK, but the Game is won or lost on the line. Madden understood that, and would go into the match ups, and comment on them throughout the game.
Brett pulling a stink bomb prank as a grown man, that most of us would have only found funny in like 7th grade, is really funny in itself. Imagine being the cashier at Spencer's and Brett Favre walks up with stink bombs, a whoopie cushion, and plastic doggie doo.
