Xotic Wah XW-1

Demo and background of the Xotic Wah XW-1 wah wah pedal. This pedal is made in California and has several adjustable features.
This video covers some of the history of the wah and demos the adjustment knobs on the side of the pedal to showcase some of the tonal variety the pedal can achieve.
The follow up video will showcase a shootout between the XW-1 and a Dunlop Crybaby.
Due to the multiple on-the-fly adjustments of the pedal, audio clipping does occur in spots. This is not a fault of the pedal, but rather something to consider when recording with it.

I suspect the noise you spoke of might be from using AC Wired power to the Xotic Wah. Let us know if using a battery gets rid of the noise? (I had noise and even radio interference, when I ran a wired power supply to the 9 V battery connector on a Vox 847 Wah. No problem on Vox with 9 volt battery.) Thanks for a sonically thorough review of the Xotic Wah! I hope if there is a remedy for pedals that have noise from AC power, the companies will figure it out soon.
