The Game of Life (CD-ROM) Longplay The Game of Life (CD-ROM) is a game created by Hasbro. It's based on the original Board game "The Game of Life" by Milton Bradley.
It shocks me how games that are worth $50+ today aren't even as good as the games we got for FREE in cereal boxes as a kid. And I had so many copies of them but I chose to keep them all anyways. I spent probably my entire childhood playing these games on an old Windows XP computer without internet. Man those were the days, and i'm only 20.
This just reminds me of when I was a child and I would think of how could it would be to achieve all these milestones in life.. now here I am during the peak of my young adulthood and ALL I want is to play this game haha
.Life is literally a game. Okay so not literally a board game, but if you understand that real life is a game and start playing the game in your favor, things will work out for you. This is something that I wish I understood earlier in life. And while playing this game. I will however teach my kids this concept that life is a game...and that if you play the right way you can get ahead without breaking the rules.
This game is the standard I judge all other digitized versions of board games by. Few will ever match the charm of this one, for sure.
Clue is on par, honestly.
I agree, JuniorAdventurer. This game is so important.
@@samkennel7650 I agree, Sam. This is so important
My favorite part of this game is the scenes that they show for each space that you land on. I remember thinking that they were so funny as a kid!
I agree, RPGFreak901. Thank you for your input.
Me too! They were hilarious 😆
NOSTALGIA AT ITS FINEST. I put so many hours into this
OMG the art style feels like a fever dream to me but its so nostlagic. I got the CD from my local KFC and ran it on my old old computer
I've always loved this game. I remember the taxes thing and the announcer's voice the most. I want to play again.
Best digital adaptation of a board game EVER. My runner up would be the PC adaptation of Monopoly that Westwood Studios made in the late 90s. MEMORIES
Omg I used to play this game for hours when I was a kid! I remember going upstairs to my dad's office and playing on this on his computer
Still holds up after all these years!
Oh my god this brings back so many memories of being a little kid and huddling around the bulky computer we had with my mom and brother having a blast
Pretty sure I got this game in a box on Corn Pops cereal lol. Childhood memories ❤️

@@anthonya2042 Me 3 lol, the only reason why I wanted to go shopping with my parents

The good is old days. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
My computer could hardly run this beast back in the day. The videos that played after landing on a tile felt like they took ages to get through.
28:27 That right there aged very well
Sadly, yes, it still applies after all this time. 🥴
I like how the Rockstar life has skipped college just to land on the spot that says college.
