Alan is my ground, touch stone, voice of reason. I've compared his and my astrology, and i'm convinced i was alive with him when he was alive, and maybe we were friends, colleagues, or maybe he was my teacher. either way, i have an endless love for this man.

as another commentator mention, Alan did have his difficulties (he was, after all, human), but he had much wisdom to give, explore and bring forth...I did hear a lecture of his in Cambridge, MA in 1971 or 1972, and then spent the weekend on a retreat with him and about a dozen others just west of Boston...it was a lovely weekend...my main takeaway from the weekend was to read and study Zen more closely...wish I could remember more, but that was quite awhile ago...still have all his books on a shelf...
Was i gonna say, the words of Alan Watts are its own music and requires not reverb or extra instruments. BUT the dance ties it together and make this work!

Really beautiful dance and choreography. Thank you. Didn't like the depressing setting though. Guess a hard surface is needed to do that kind of dance but I would have preferred something out in nature- but then I guess it would not have had enough "darkness" to make a Buddhist statement. Alan, a genius who shaped my life even if he ended up an alcoholic....
the depressing setting? that was a big marina in Seattle, where all the commercial boats go to get you your seafood. It's a beautiful place. It's called fishermans terminal in Ballard, part of Seattle and it's a wonderful place. It was just cloudy that day, as it is a lot of days here
