Art still got it. The band rocks. He's been a hero of mine since I was a kid. He simply cannot write a bad song.
Everclear has never released a bad song and every single one has an important message. Art has been one of my heroes for decades and one of the reasons I got sober. Just celebrated 11 years last week.

I saw them in concert just yesterday and the played this song. It is an amazing song and they played it even better live
As Art so elegantly put it a few decades ago, "You're possessed with a power that's bigger than the pain." And it holds true here. I loved this on Art's solo album. I had no idea you released it again, but it hits differently with Everclear. Today is my 43rd birthday, and I was listening to a bunch of music I loved from my 20s and fell in love with Everclear again and suddenly this. I think this is what this song was always meant for. A permanent solution to a temporary problem isn't the answer (I know, I sought permanent solutions a few times in my teens and 20s).
That shit hit like a country song.. you know the type.. doing dishes and crying for no reason!! Powerful!! Thanks boys ya still got it!!

The story behind this song is absolutely heartbreaking...art was interviewed by people magazine and one of the questions was...what inspired you to write this song? His words were "a 10 year old who had a colonastamy bag..he was bullied in school to the point where when he got home one day he took his own life"
This is also the 2nd release of this song..first was art by himself on his solo album and then he decided to re-release and re-record it with everclear!

3 days before my son was born, we seen Everclear and Art saw my kids mom all pregnant and beelined it to us and was hands down super down to earth guy. Can't remember the entire conversation but he is one of my all time favorite celebrities for it. Love listening to them 20 years ago and more so now

Yes. I met him after a concert in a very small venue. I bought the vinyl album and asked for an autograph. The couple in front of me was drunk and he was like, “you know you don’t have to drink to have a good time. AA is a great place to start.” It didn’t come across preachy. It was actually heartfelt. Great dude!

To be fair and honest, I can relate to all members of the group with differences through our generations of trends yet so similar to unconditional disagreements in enlightening movements of uplifting dividends.
Unexplainable how universal the bond in talent uplifts into an Unstoppable realm of mutal respect. Even if our paths are different, it's undeniable at best as they are relatable in desireable beings of light to the gest and energy empowering reliable requests. So we won't cry or fret or feel threat from world renound guests, our construction not contrivable nor their tests (new word order hype: cousin William and Harry approved no strife) . Toes curled in passionate movements protecting them at best, no hate or blith. Beauty within Time, without distress best believe I'm the last member to exclude their pastence. No matter what our miscommunications , i guarantee its never bent out of shape or miscommunicated when it comes to our breed we never stoop to the level against which we repent without haste , our decisions make more sense. As a father of a four year old, this is my worst fear. Technology has added a whole new spectrum of issues children have to deal with. Life is hard enough. Trying to figure out this world is not easy for a kid.

There could be various reasons why they only have 75K followers. UA-cam doesn't dictate if a band is underrated or not, these guys have been doing their thing for many, many years before UA-cam even existed. They have gained fans through relentless touring and brilliant music and have had an incredibly successful career.

Stuff like this hits different now that I have a 1 yo son. I hope to God mwe have the type of relationship that he feels comfortable coming to me in a situation like this and I have the words and actions to guide him to a good path. Better yet he never has these kind of thoughts to come to me with.
