Can we just appreciate that he still uses his signal at those speeds
@@lennon6277 ok :D of course I use the turn signals, also at much higher speeds. see this video with my XX ua-cam.com/video/ta9FDdtJLG8/v-deo.html
Driving fast isn't dangerous. Driving fast and not letting other people know what you're planning on doing is dangerous...remember that.
Finally someone that can do a 0-100 properly!
thanks :) but could have been a little faster. Revs could have been a little highe at the start. 3,3s should be possible.
MotoTop very good launch! I think revs were spot on. Better times might come with clutch release. But im no pro and have nothing negative to say. Good video sir
Straight to the point. No intros and big talks. Proper 0-100 and 0-200. Great video, stay safe man! Love from Greece!
Good Video and everyone can tell you are a Pro in accelerating this bike.
One of best Vids on top speed for ZX6R.
Loving your channel , straight into action , no BS , no clickbait and pure adrenaline! , Earned a new subscriber :3
Wow what a perfect clear shot, each single detail is crystal clear visible. The best channel ever for speed testing
Finally some video worth watching, the amount of information provided is 👌
This was an amazing 0-100 video, it’s one of my favourite bikes too!!
There here is someone who were did very properly test from 0-100km/h and above. Great job dude 👍
thanks bro :) would be great if you can share my channel and videos. I need more subs to get bikes for testing from the manufacturers. Right now they don't even reply :.(
It's funny, your video explains more about the bike, than other 10 reviews that I have seen, simple, if we are looking for a sports bike, we want to see how much it runs and how it sounds.
best youtube channel
thanks :) would be nice if you could share my videos and channel and helping me grow :)
Love this video. I’ve seen it about 10
times now😂
@@mototop_ i want to buy a zx6r so bad. what do you think about the bike?
@@Phantom_rides it's really great for sporty riding on normal roads because of very short gear ratio. Maybe another exhaust would be nice for better sound :)
NIce video brother! new subscriber! more power!
thanks bro :) I need new bikes for testing.... I'm running out of videos :.(
@@mototop_ nice brother. If you want you could test smaller displacement bikes too. Or two stroke motorcycles that would be fun more power!
Maaaaan that was a smooooth acceleration ❤❤😵❤
All your videos are awesome especially with the GPS data.
Maybe next you could test Y2K 😁😁 👍.
@@mototop_ Y2K is a helicopter jet engine motorcycle made by an American company.
You should check it out, you will love it. 👍👍.
Thank you...great video.
@@mototop_ I've got the same exact 2020 ZX6R but haven't been able to time myself and don't have the courage to see how fast it will go (140mph is my max).
very good... great ride
thanks :) but revs in 1st gear at start could have been a little bit higher :D
@@mototop_ it's an excellent bike. Too bad here in Brazil, medium and high-capacity motorcycles are very expensive. zx6r = $ 10500 / R$ 53000 Reais
Wow amazing speed
Topspeed of new ZX-6R is pretty low, because of very short transmission. but acceleration is great
wow nice video and so fast ✌✌
If you like it please share my videos and recommend my channel :) I need more subscribers to get new bikes for testing :D Thanks :)
Really nice bike. Would love to have this as a second bike next to my daily driver ... it seems it is a bit tuned for accelaration while sacrifing some top speed, which isn't bad.
right, the new ZX-6R has a very short transmisson. Therefore acceleration is great (also in low rpm) but topspeed is less. but for dayly riding it's perfect :)
Great video as always. If you could do a simular test on the Suzuki gsxr 1100 from 1993-1998 the watercooled models would be great!!! Also some more 90s bikes like the Kawasaki Zzr 1100 , Honda cbr 900 rr , Kawasaki zx-9r and yamaha fzr 1000.
I really like to if I get one of these bikes :) But it's not so easy to get bikes for testing :.(
@@mototop_ You can come test my cbr 900 rr, im in the netherlands.
@@everythingsbetternaked473 I'm from Munich, so it's pretty far to go :D but thanks for your invitation :)
Video is greatly done. Excellent quality. But I have to say that I have a 2019 zx6r with open exhaust and a +1 tooth front sprocket that is capable of surpassing the 270km/h mark. I promise I will get a better camera and soon upload some footage of my bikes top speed
ok, would be great to see :) But the short gearing is good for acceleration and rollon, and on normal roads you don't need speeds above 200 :D
top video my kawasaki ninja zx6r 2007 max speed 278 km/h
The new ZX-6R has a very short gear ratio and the revs are limited in 6th gear because it would always run into rev limiter at topspeed. That's why it's slower than other 600cc bikes
One of my favourite bikes... A real beauty that one. I'm still a fan of the (old school) analog tachometer. Nothing beats a sweeping needle... Showing my age now... hahhaaa.
@@Therukh999 LOL... Yup an oldie, but still a fastie... or was it... The older I get... the faster I was... 😀
True! Used to ride an 2008 zx6r which could go 280. The limited the newer models, riding a 2019 now with a top of 260
well that cleaned out the fuel lines and cleaned the plugs and carbon off top off pistons !!!! what a run-- !!
This is how I feel when I'm riding my 150cc bike on 60kph😂
150cc also makes fun ;) I rode a Honda Win 100 in Vietnam. Was my best trip ever :)
Nice video bro!! Could you tell me is this bike o.k. for 1.70 height rider? thank you.
I want to know is these last petrol bikes of today faster than the old bikes at the start of fuel injection I have a 2004 ninja 636
bro you are so lucky to ride this beast
thanks :) but for me this is not a beast. the new ZX-10R would be a real beast for me :D hope I can test it next year....
@@11111653 I'll do my best ;) And I hope also other manufacturers will give me their bikes for testing. Maybe with 10k subs I'll have higher chance
hmm, i have a question.(i haven't ridden any 600's i'm looking for one new) this bike makes max torque @ around 11k rpm, u will feel the pull up to that only? can you feel any drop off after 11k? and when u upshift each time then engine is over 13k-14k rpm where the torque is lower than peak. can you feel the difference or is it pulling stronger at 14k. i watched some reviews but nobody talked about this.
the test was long time ago, so I can't remember in detail. But due to it's short gear ratio it has a pretty good rollon in lower revs, compared to other 600cc bikes.
@@mototop_ thx man!, latest reviewers don't post videos like this anymore. happy to see ''unblurred'' screens here 👍
I’m trying to get this bike before the summer.. is it enough for the street or do I need a 1000cc?
in my opinion it's enough for the street, because it has a very short gearing. Therefore acceleration and rollon is really good. See rollon in my other videos ua-cam.com/video/Khhx62JTBgU/v-deo.html
I love the 600s they are the only machine on the road that will rev to 16,000 with the acceleration like this, they are just such fun bikes and still very very fast.
For a short periode the Yamaha R6 revs up to 17500. But they restricted it soon. The inline 4 250ccm bikes rev up to 19k 😎
If I remember correctly my old zx6r from 2008 could rev up to 18.000 and topspeed around 270km/h @@mototop_
ROCKET!
due to its short transmission it accelerates pretty fast. Maybe rev in 1st gear at start was a little bit too low and costs some tenths....
just wondering is the top speed electronically limited?
it is. the new ZX-6R has a very short gearing. In 6th gear the revs are limited, because it would always run into rev-limiter
I don't believe you had it in launch mode, bc I have one, and it is WAAAAAY quicker than what your bike took off. Was it in cruise mode?
Woww 241 Kmph That's exactly 150 Mph. Awesome bike 👍❤️
could be more. the ne ZX-6R has a very short gear ratio and runs into rev limiter
@@mototop_ ohhh! Thank you for the information Sir. Anyway Awesome bike 👍
Had a Kawasaki ZZR600E back in the early 90s. Had to sell it off with a heavy heart due to difficulty in getting spareparts as the bike was getting too old. Surprised that the top speed of latest ZX636 is not that much different compared to old ZZR despite the ZZR being much heavier and had lower horsepower.
that's sad you had to sell it :.(
But the new ZX-6R has a very short gear ratio. thats why topspeed is slower. It's limited in 6th gear because it would always run into rev limiter.
Real god acceleration to 100kmh. After that it lacks the raw acceleration that 1000ccm sport bikes keeps on going.
to 100 I could have been a little bit faster (maybe 0,1 or 0,2s) because the revs at the start have been to low.
Guys plz tell me your opinion. I have a 636 2003 with 75000 kms... bought it very cheap, but previous owner didn't have a service book or something. Bike runs really good,no oil or antifreeze burning and idles good. I can hear a big ticking sound from the head when cruising around 4k rpms or when decelerating. I checked valve tappet clearance and it was within specs, check the chain tensioner and was good, also checked the cams surface,it looks good too. I know Kawasaki makes some noisy engines but i think it's too much. Ticking sound started to sound more and more as the weather became too cold,I'm currently on 10-40 full synthetic IPONE with 4000kms (gonna change oil and filter next week)
UPDATE if anyone is wondering or something :P
timing chain was shot, needed replacement (was too lose and cam timing was set of)
Switched to mechanical chain tensioner
Crankshaft journal bearings were destroyed
Con rods journal bearings were destroyed too
Replaced them all
Fixed issues with 2nd gear and repair forks, also new gearbox axle bearing.
Repair fuel pump and reprogram PC3
Total cost 1400€
@@georgestam1710 great you solved it :) yep, now that makes sense with timing chain. It's also a typical problem at some Honda bikes :D

MotoTop its an indian make .. RS 200 ! Its 200 cc but 24.5 bhp! Lovely beast! Top speed 153 all stock! A guy is selling 2007 Honda CBR 600 RR. It will be my first 600 bike. Should i buy thay old. It will be helpful to learn about 600 before i land up buying this beautiful zx6r... what are the things i need to look into when buying and sports bike... if i buy the honda, i ll need to buy new fairings as the current ones have lost all paints!
2017 my r6 stock did 270km and it helps with traction off
the new ZX-6R has a very short transmission and therefore the revs are limited in 6th gear, because it wold always run into rev limiter at topspeed.
How did you accelerate without the front wheel lifting?
traction / wheelie control was activated ;) But it doesn't has that big desire to lift the front wheel
Hi, the videos are really great. However, it will be nice if you could include your height and approximate weight in the description of your vids. This is because these parameters tend to affect the overall acceleration and topspeed numbers. Thanks..
