Roy I'm following your example and revisiting some of big John Waynes films, plenty to choose from and having grown up watching them on tv must admit I'm really enjoying them. Can't recall Big Jake so that's my next watch. Love that you tell us about the films and not what format or box there in, keep em coming 👍
@@petegee thanks Pete, kind words. You'll enjoy Big Jake. Wayne at his charismatic best. I'm getting through the ones I own. I may have to invest in some more. 👍
Some more interesting watches this week by the sounds of it mate 😎👍🏻 9 to 5 has always intrigued me, I'll have to take a closer look one day at that one. Enjoy ur time at the coast mate 👍🏻
@@popcornandhorror thanks Ash. 👍 your video in the week has made me look forward to seeing the sea 🌊 😀. We live just about the furthest point from the coast.
@roybarratt5609 I grew up a stones throw away from the beach, in a town called Brightlingsea, but it still feels great whenever I go back to the coast. Luckily I'm probably only a 45min drive to some sort of coastline 😎
Hi Roy, I’ve seen the 80’s Tv show of the Triffids (scared me to death at the time 😆) I’ve read the story of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and wouldn’t mind getting that silent edition 🧐 9 to 5 is an excellent film, the boss is played by Dabney Coleman who was a lovely guy and a great character actor who sadly passed away two moths ago aged 92. (It has a Spanish, Italian and a limited edition American blu-ray edition. Enjoy your trip to the coast mate, take care👍😃👍
Hey Alan 👋 we were the perfect age for Day of the Triffids. I always think of it alongside another show The Tripods as it was a similar time and had a similar effect on me 😃 There's a decent copy of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea on UA-cam so you can watch it for free 👍 If my research was as thorough as yours I'd have known Dabney Coleman died recently. Thanks 👍 mate 👍
Hi Roy, Only recently watched Big Jake for the first time and really enjoyed it, A bit more violent for a John Wayne film that i didn't expect but one i will be picking up. Dracula AD is not one of the best out of the Hammer Dracula films but its still a lot of fun, i do enjoy the all if i am honest. 9 To 5 is a great film , i watched that a couple of weeks back with the wife and we both enjoyed it. Thanks mate
@bushmanblu426 hello Mark. It was a decent week. No turkeys this week. 9 to 5 was really good fun. I think there maybe a foreign bluray. I will have to investigate.
Hello from Greece 🇬🇷, love mysterious island ray harryhausen top tier, carnt go wrong with John Wayne films some better than others but he always solid, Christopher lee my Dracula 🦇👌🏻. don't think I have seen IF film mate , nice watches have a good holiday mate 👍🏻
‘If’ is a really great film Roy; I only seen it the once; but I really liked it; need to check out more films from Lindsay Anderson mate; have a great time away Roy; I’m off back to my parents today; so I won’t be doing any vids for a week and a bit; let’s hope it’s coming home buddy 😀⚽️🦁🍿🎸🤞
@@roybarratt5609 thanks very much Roy; I gonna have some Rubard & Custard sweets when movie watching; having a Chicken Dinner today 😍👌 Gonna do some more Reading too 😊📚
