I think it’s really sad how Thomas volunteered to be put inside a toy due to his dying illness and wanted to extend his life now he has to sit in isolation FOR the rest of his life…it’s super dark and depressing.
Considering he knew the company was doing illegal human experiments, probably knew what happened to the orphans, and still supported the company.... I think his fate was a big dose of karma.

Unless they confirm he was on the experiment staff we can't say if he truly knew what was going besides that they did experiments with human bodies and he either volunteered his body to be used after his death or volunteered in hopes their experiments would help him

I think Thomas getting attacked for being a volunteer makes the most sense, since any employees forced into the toys as punishment for taking action against the company would likely be accepted by the others. And that is definitely Boxy Boo's paw

It’s possible the difference is that the other toys are made with children’s brains, but Bron/Thomas is the first ‘adult’ attempt. Children are often thought to be cruel and vicious with reduced empathy as their brains are underdeveloped before a certain age, and having extreme aggression and bullying behavior feels akin to children going mad

I think the reason he's the "odd one out" is due to him being a volunteer, or even due to his illness and disorientation. If the toys can sense things humans can't, such as chemicals imbalances, behavior, etc, it would make sense that the illness or volunteer status is what makes him different. As of now, no other person has volunteered

i cant see an illness being the problem within the toy to where other toys would notice this just by looking or sensing it by a guess let alone multiple guessing this. i think it could be pugapillar at a random guess tho because we do see pugapillar in chapter 2 with many arms and glove like hands. its not too illogical to think that pugapillar could be a returning face and boxy boo being chapter 4 instead.

I know that the scientist states that Thomas was of sound mind and willing to go through this process, the idea that he loses all sense of himself and is attacked so brutally makes this even more upsetting. There's just something about this specific story that makes me feel sad and lonely. It feels so depressing.😢

It's a VERY brief flash of yellow on the left side on the edge of where the light reaches. If boxy boo did it like people have theorized- could been boxy boo leaving. it also might have no significance at all or be something else occurring. It isn't clear that it's "something running away" it's just a very brief flash of yellow

The sound they're talking about, I can feel the vibrations in my throat. Bron had his throat ripped out and vocal chords ripped out. I think that was him tyring to say something. The comic skit I think was Bonzo looking for Dinosaur Eggs not bird eggs and accidentally fell into his containment cell, Bron saw him, the dead dinosaur egg and killed him
(I wanted to add that in the original video at 0:33 when they Show Bron alone in the middle of his containment cell with a scientist watching him, if you look up on top there is the same hole where Bonzo fell into)
One thing I haven’t really heard anyone mention, but I am interested in is the fact that bron’s thyroid is missing. According to the wiki, Thomas signed up for the bigger bodies initiative. The thyroid is some thing that controls growth, so I’m wondering if because he’s in a smaller body, if the bigger toys aren’t built bigger, but if they somehow grow into that bigger size because of tinkering with their thyroid function.
That’s a great point and theory.
Pretty sure the clawed hand that grabbed Bron was Boxy since he’s one of the only clawed monsters (especially bigger bodies monsters) and Bron was seen in the middle of the room with a lot of space between him and the other toys, which Boxy could get him with the extendable grapple he can do. Also, if this is true then maybe Boxy won’t be relegated to only Project and could appear in Chapter 3, which I really hope happens.

I feel like he was an employee that had little to no connection to the experiments. He probably poured his heart out about his situation to someone more involved, they convinced him to do the experiment, and he chose to agree. That’s the feeling I get because they make you feel so bad for him and people who are involved in the bad thing usually don’t get that kind of treatment in these kinds of things. Usually someone who is involved in the bad things are made to be irredeemable monsters worse than what they creat who deserves what they get. But this makes us feel empathy and sadness for him, so I don’t think he was extremely involved in the experiments, if he was even involved at all.

@@sandbees597 I know he was an EMPLOYEE but it doesn’t say if he was working in the part of the company that does the experiments. There seem to be two types of employees, factory workers and people who work on the experiments. We know from the tape with Jack Septiceye’s character the not all the factory workers know about the living toys, but it is clear that SOME of them do and/or are involved in both the factory work AND the experiments. The higher ups of the factory would HAVE to know at least some of what’s going on in the labs to keep their workers that are in the dark from finding out anything. All they said was that Thomas/Bron worked for Playtime Co, but not where. But given how we’re actually made to feel sorry for him, it’s very likely he had little or nothing to do with the experiments. He’s worked there a long time. He could have been a higher up or friend of a higher up or someone working in the lab and that’s how he found out about the experiments. But I don’t think he was one of the people doing the main work in the lab. For all we know, he could have been cleaning the beakers after experiments. Or he could have never known about them until he told someone in the know about his cancer and wish to live longer and they talked him into it. I’m not saying he isn’t a Playtime Co. employee, tha5 part if VERY obvious. I’m saying that I don’t think he has a role in a larger, DEEPER part of the experiments, IF he has any at all role in the experiments at all.

If you go frame by frame from 1:20 to 1:22 in the original video (the scene where they find eviscerated remains of little Bron) you can see a silhouette of a pink-looking toy (at least I think it's pink) running away to the left.

The monster that attacks Bron is definitely Boxy Boo. If you listen closely at the moments right before Brons attack, you hear Boxy Boos music box music playing and the sound of him breaking out. Then there is the claw is Boxys hand. I'm sure someone else has commented this by now tho.
I think the reason that the toys knew Thomas was different might've been because he was a willing participant, while the others were not. That, coupled with the fact that he was an employee, made for a volatile concoction as Thomas was basically the antithesis of the other toys

a kind heart or volunteering as he was close to death would be the least likely to be true. for him to have worked there seems like the logical step. he had ties, the toys have motive. thomas was still a puppet for the company even after death and a near 2nd death.

Been thinking about it and I think the reason all the other toys singled bron out isnt because he's an employee, its the fact that he is the first one that can talk. If you think about it, the toys went straight to the larynx and thyroid. If the toys are actually children, then it would make sense to go for the throat as this is where children are told voices come from. At the end of the clip we hear a noise we ain't heard before, right. Maybe this is what bron sounds like now, after being beat up?

The only ones that seem not to be able to talk are huggy wuggy and kissy missy so far, mommy long legs and poppy can talk. The rest have not had a need to speak to the character so there’s no way to know for sure if they talk
The reason they went for the throat also could be that they were attacking him in a pack, like wolves do.
What I was thinking of that sets Thomas apart from the others is that not only is he an employee of the company, he’s also a *willing* participant. It would make sense that the others potentially see Thomas, now Bron, as a threat for that reason. It would also make sense that the others weren’t made with willing participants, given their aggression (aside from Kissy Missy so far), and that’s a huge reason why they all know that Bron is different. I’m excited for the new chapter of this game to come out!
Honestly. It's 100000x scarier seeing the toy with moving real body part that was once human, than seeing voids or in the past spirits. Like. Ick. Seeing the eyes move frantically around sent chills down my spine.

There are some things that might make Bron different. He is older than the others at 59 years old, he willingly volunteered, and he was an employee.
But guessing he was dissoriented and didnt know whats happening, that was probably a lie, no one just gives up his life to be in a toy that is treated no less than a hamster
@@memor22but the thing is, he was suffering from cancer. I think he probably just figured if he was gonna go anyway he should give his body up for the company he’d been working so long for. I mean think about it, he was already dying, if he died during the process it wouldn’t be anything he didn’t expect, but if he survived he wouldn’t die to his disease.

Super late but I wanna throw out a theory. I think a contributing reason Thomas was so disoriented when becoming Bron is because he didn’t go through the “tests” like the children. It’s been a while but I think i remember the game station actually being a series of tests to encourage the kids to “bond” with the toys. And in my opinion, this would probably make it much easier for the kids to assimilate to their new bodies. Along with him being a previous employee I believe that this somehow also has significant impact on his disorientation.

I feel like some of the confusion comes in because while this is supposed to be a video recording, it is not necessarily chronological. The part with Bron's beat up and broken appearance comes after the attack but it's included before in the video because it's intriguing from a storytelling pov. I feel like the creators are playing loosely with the format they're using to tell these stories, which can be kind of frustrating if you think too deeply around the conventions for that format. Also for how we got those pov shots in Bron's eyes.
I feel like it’s not because Thomas is the only adult (see former playtime employees who were forcefully turned into toys), but more so because he chose to undergo the procedure on his own free will. The other toys may sense that and hate him since they were forced. Also I still think the hand is Huggy, only because it fits with his personality. Again, the toys may not see Thomas as a toy, but clearly an employee

I think it pretty obvious the reason for smaller toys is for selling purpose, the first poppy trailer and opening cutscene advertised as a very life like toy that can talk and respond back to you. Idea is to basically make real life toy story where toys are alive and will interact with the kid who bought them
Not only is he an employee, he was there for a long time & wasn't forced into the experiment but volunteered for the experiment.
I'm honestly surprised they didn't think about Boxy Boo, he's the only toy we know of who is given actual claws, that isn't the Prototype, and would have those big puffy fingers

I actually thought they misinterpreted the "claw" because it can also be read as a Huggy Wuggy "mitten".

The hand that grabbed Bron looked a lot like boxyboo's hand, not to mention that the jump scare sound effect sounded like boxyboo's from project playtime. I honestly can't wait to see where they go with the 3rd chapter of the game as I agree that it feels like they are getting us ready for something big, like the release of the third chapter.

I wouldn’t just say it’s because he is an employee but because he was willing. The rest were unwilling and you have theorized before that employees have been used. I think that Thomas is different because he was willing to be used for the experiments and knew about them, while the others were unwilling and forced into it, and they resent him for knowing about it, and allowing them to happen.
I can feel the sound at the end of the VHS deep in my throat and it's the weirdest, most uncomfortable sensory thing I have ever experienced-
At 9:10 it looks like the human nervous system - not a skeleton.
You'd need the peripheral nervous system to connect the organs, limbs and skin together. It carries sensory & motor info to and from the CNS, it regulates involuntary body functions (breathing, heartbeat, etc) And it allows the brain & spinal cord to receive & send info to other areas of the body.
You cant just shove a brain and some organs in there and expect the body to work.
And after a brief look up, it looks like some parts of the nervous system can be more than 3 feet long. Studying how it works, and how to make artificial nerves to be able to attach to the larger creatures (like Huggy Wuggy) wouldn't be out of the question for the work those people are doing. I don't think we've confirmed if the toys can feel pain either - if they can't. that could be something that was also intentionally messed with.

I would agree cause thats also how they tend to illustrate the nervous system for people not a skeletal structure of humans.
I do agree that the fact that the other toys knew that Bron was different shows that they can know the difference between a kid and adult who was turned into a toy. Who's to say the small dismantled toys that we see in Poppy Playtime could have been adults turned into toys?

The spectrogram worked actually! The sound it made from the high pitched noise sounds like the alarm in the chapter 3 VHS “announcing” the hour of joy.
If anyone didn’t realize, the furry clawed hand that we see before the whole “ brons friendly bloodbath” is boxy boo. It’s interesting to see boxy boo at this time. So this Has to be taken place after boxy boo (the giant toy version) was made.

When you run the high pitched noise through a spectrogram you get the message "GO TO SLEEP" with a weird face underneath. The face kinda looks like a person but almost alien. It has large eyes similar to Bron.

I think it's probably worth noticing that PJ Pugapiller's tongue WAS extending from his mouth and the toys didn't just attack him. According to the scientist, he was "devoured."
I don't think the takeaway from this is that the toys could somehow sense that Bron wanted to be a toy. I think that something about toy Bron specifically was enticing or *tasty* to the toys, which is why they were all staring at him like literal fresh meat.

It's worth noting that the Thyroid is what controls your metabolism, the monsters being hungry is a common theme so this might play into that in some way.
The larynx is also what causes voice, maybe making bron unable to speak or speak distorted
I know I'm late to the party here but hear me out. I don't personally think that Bron or Thomas was attacked in this purely because he was an ex employee, I think its because he was willingly put into the toy. he is the only character we know of so far that has been co firmed to be willingly put into a toy. if it was employees only then if the patty hall theory is correct then kissy missy would be a target amongst the toys. I also believe the experiment system is purely for testing purposes instead of mass production. because of the sheer number of dead toys we see in the factory I don't believe that every time a child was put into a toy it was listed as an experiment, rather significant developments were. Huggy, mommy, boxy and any other big body was their own experiment because there is so few of them, 1006 is of course the prototype, and bron was significant because he was the only toy so far that was willingly put into a toy. thoughts?
I’m wondering if maybe the other toys attacked him because he was actually a willing participant, unlike all the others. They may have realized that he actually let them do the experiment on him, when the others were forced into it and that’s why they attacked.

Especially if Boxy Boo was the one that grabbed him. Kissy Missy may have attacked Boxy Boo to save Bron since she seems loyal to the employees. Maybe they misinterpret this as her being the one to attack him, leading to her being restrained so much in the previous tape?

Right before Boxy Boo attacks, if you hear VERY closely (or turn the volume up), you can hear his winding box play the EXACT same sound that plays in Project Playtime when Boxy Boo spawns. 100% Boxy Boo attacked Bron.
I think they all were thinking of attacking and Boxy Boo was the first to act. Kissy Missy was the last to leave but was she attacking or defending Bron?

I think another reason why the others might have attacked Thomas is that he chose to do the experiment of his own free will. He probably thought he had nothing to loose because he was dying anyway. He knew what was going to happen going into it.
The others were probably forced into it and didn't agree to the experiments, which is why they were so angry at him. He chose the torment they were forced into willingly. They never got that choice!
I agree with ya on that. Because to assume that all the other toys only have children inside just excludes a lot of the missing employees that definitely were turned into toys.

to me what makes him different is the fact that he voluntarily did this. This is the only instance that I recall that someone chose to do this and was not an orphan or some random person who got to close to the truth. And we can see that he chose to do it because when he is in the room with the other toys before he is attacked the subtitles say "Thank You" and I think that is him. Just my thoughts.

If you look again at that scene of the research team intervening on the other toy’s attempting to unalive bron, it’s really easy to miss but you can just see huggy wuggy running out of frame to the left into the darkness

I don't think it's only that hes an employee though. He also volunteered and the only other creature to do that was poppy. They must not have thought that it was very fair that they were stuffed into these toys against their will and he really is put in with care because he volunteered.

I actually doubt that the toy that attacked Bron was the chapter 3 boss. Now keep in mind I’m not sure if this fits the timeline but I think it was Boxy Boo. He is the only one that has large hands with distinctly thick fingers and has color contrasting claws. What also led me to believe this was how quickly it popped up on screen. Yea it could have just been for the scare but very few toys can move that fast.
What I'm getting from this is that the other toys attacked him because they could recognize he was either a former employee of the company or just an adult while they're all orphan children, which made them feel a great deal of resentment toward poor Thomas.
I'm pretty sure Boxy Boo's theme sounds faintly in the background right before the claw grabs Bron, which also fits with Boxy's claw

He was probably terrified as well, confused about everything, unable to understand, and I'm just grasping but I'm pretty sure he knew something was wrong anyone no matter age or mind age can tell when they are in danger or there's bad intent (aggression) towards then. At that point he was just a sentient being or a living creature.
I think the difference here is that Thomas CHOSE the procedure where the rest of them were forced
