Think Princess has made a big jump ahead of Sunseeker
princess build quality is so much better! do you have a boat?
Princess are now in another league. Sunseeker yachts have lost their class and style. Their new range is bland and the interior looks like it has been designed by a 1980's Volvo design team. Ikea style flat packed furniture is not a multi million pound look! Up your game Sunseeker, Princess, Pershing and Pearl are leaving you standing..

I know we were not at sea, but I felt a bit sea sick watching that, with the camera going up and down and swinging around. Also the presenter's way of talking with long punctuation gaps was boring and annoying.
Will you be taking the s78 out on test ? Would be nice to see her performing !
Why do reviewers never open the tender garage. Very frustrating. It would be nice to see what size tender fits in and space for other things. It would be nice also to open various storage areas, fridge, cabinets in saloon, barbeque area and fridges on fly bridge etc.
Probably not allowed. Also you can go to Williams Jet Tenders website, there's a "Yacht Fitment" button there that contains the tender sizes for many different yachts.
For this yacht you can fit a Williams 445
Gorgeous and powerful but it has a couple of flaws with the midline steps.. Firstly, when med stern-to berthed the single midline transom steps would make accessing the crew cabin difficult when the passerelle is extended. I'm not sure if any skipper or stew will be too keen on clambering up and down the passerelle. Secondly, a Seadoo on the transom could obstruct or suffer damage from the passerelle. There is a very good reason why yachts have port and starboard transom steps.

Love the content. Love the personality. Love a trusted source of boat information because I am shopping for a 510. Do I have time to care about production value?
Some things did not make sense.
The flybridge has a BBQ, fridge and sink which was never shown and the presenter says the flybridge is not set up for dining, which it is not.
Why would you have a BBQ on the flybridge and no place to dine?
The Azimut S7 is looking better. It has luxury and functionality, correct placement of the BBQ, cocktail flybridge, fantastic galley and I quite like it's placement near the helm so couples can converse underway and prep in the galley.
Alasdair McBryde The S7 looks great, but the kitchen is next to the captains helm, so conversation with passengers in the lounge area from an owner/operator standpoint is not ideal. And the fly bridge on the S7 is smaller than the Princess, with little room for socializing up top. This Princess has a great layout. It gives up nothing to Azimut.

I used to love princess in every way! Style layout but i came across a builder called absolute! And a boat same size as a princess say a absolute 62 fly compared to the princess 62 is 3 quarter's of a million pounds cheaper! And the absolute has volvo ips pods! Please justify this drastically cheaper machine! And dont tell me princess interiors are better! In fact the princess interiors are better but 3 quarters of a million better?? I think not! I can buy dock and run my absolute for the same amount of the purchase price of the princess!! For 20 years! Also prestige and cranchi build quality boats drastically cheaper than the top brands! Good buy princess my future purchase wont be with you! This s78 is a beautiful boat but i wont even look or ask for price because it will be ridiculously overpriced!
This is true, and I do very much like absolute boats too, but I don't think any absolute boats have a tender garage (correct me if I'm wrong) and that for me would be a very important factor, the same reason I would choose a princess s78 over a y78 or f70, which are both beautiful boats, and the lack of tender garage is the only reason I would not buy either.
@@tomjeffries1824 absolute dont build any bigger than 72 feet and don't build sports cruisers only flybridge and trawler yachts! The absolute 72 flybridge is 2million pounds! The s78 is 3.5 million pounds ! Nearly 4mill thats almost double the price for a boat only 6 feet longer! No flybridge yachts under 80 feet have tender storage due to large crew quarters and space on flybridge for tender with crane! Sports cruisers under 80 feet skimp out of the crew quarters to have tender storage because on flybridge yachts you have that flybridge to store your tender and a jetski on the swim platform! So the sports cruisers under 80 feet compromise crew quarters for a sports looking boat! It has nothing to do with price! Dont get me wrong princess, sunseeker, ferritti and sanlorenzo build beautiful machines but you absolutely pay threw the teeth for them! The quality is not millions of pounds better thats a fact! Like Ferrari you pay for the name! Its as simple as that!! ⚓🛳 happy sailing all!
@@baddazzgarage2953 I am aware of all of this, but it doesn't change any of what I previously stated, as that is also all true, don't really understand the relevance of your comment, it contains no information that I don't already know, and it doesn't dispute anything I've already said.
@@baddazzgarage2953 and 3.5 million is NOT 'nearly 4 million', its three and a half million, so one and a half times the 2 million you mentioned, not double, £500,000 difference, if I wanted £400 worth of goods from a shop, but only had £350 and I said to the manager, 'it's nearly £400' would I be correct?
All this aside, I'm actually quite liking what azimut are offering right now, and would probably place them very high on my list.

What are you talking about i gave no info?? You claimed its cheaper because it has no tender storage! You don't even no what boats absolute build! Just tried to help you and explain but your to arrogant to listen! Sports cruisers have no flybridge so they need a garage to hold a tender and jetski in the swim platform! A flybridge puts tender on swim platform and jetski on the flybridge! It has nothing to do with price! Sorry i tried to explain and help you! If you new all this you never would of asked the question you asked! Take care
