I wondered for some time how this got done. I wasn't that interested, but finally figured out: the set-top and USB units don't have an antenna input. For your roku to display channels, it has to be built-in to the set.
I havent tried it myself, yet, but the Roku app has a remote built in that you can use to control the TV from your phone. I notice it has a keyboard. did work for me - sems my roku is newer than yours though. has the options you show, but the "all channels" still shows all the streaming channels and I cannot find my locals, uhg

This does not work for me. Just bought the 4K Streaming stick last week. I follow your instructions up to the Settings, but my Roku menu does not list 'TV Input' even though I do have an antenna hooked up.
@ So that won’t have the TV inputs option because this video pertains only to Roku smart TVs, not Roku streaming device is connected to a TV. However, the Roku streaming device does offer a bunch of free, live channels, have you checked those out? Vizio downgraded and tuned off antenna tuner and allows only online locals. Had to reset TV and keep wifi off, ridiculous. Online local where extremely slow to navigate on model.
@@NorthcoasterHobby Also, a quick tip, when I install an antenna, I spray paint the plastic parts to prolong UV exposure. I like the RCA ANT705 for 30-40 mile range. The one you have in some vidios.
My doesn't show the channels, well the numbers,,just the name of the channels.. Like "Crime" or "Cop" but not the channel number.. Is there a setting for that?

I read somewhere yesterday that if you set your Roku TV to open up (when it's first turned on) to the local channels, then you don't have to constantly rescan. Can you tell me how I can set which channel the Roku TV goes to when I turn on the TV?

You think you have it bad with 3 over the air channels, where I live in the UP there’s only 1. The main reason satellite tv was popular before internet streaming came.
Vhs tapes more free whiching in your house now days everything proven people like myself are buying VCR players cleaning tapes vhs movies everything else off eBay and Amazon now days not hard finding on your phone now days

How can I add WGBO Chicago which is 66 to my onn Roku tv I do have a antenna that scaned for channels but only goes to channel 62.Thank you.

@@gotdrums. It only works for Roku Smart TV’s, not a TV with a Roku stick connected to it.

Are you talking about the streaming channels or the over the air channels? The over the air channels will display the channel number on the guide.
