Hello Jim , Thanks for your support matey, you’re right about the scopes but obviously one I had was the cheaper end of the road and Robin had the top of the hill scope ! Exceptional quality as I’d expect from HikMicro. Not sure when we will get together again to make part 4 ? But it will definitely happen I’m sure. I’m taking the lucky comp winner down the week after next, and who knows what will happen???? Will he stay awake? Will he snore? And, will we see the elusive Boar ?????🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢

Hi Big Steve, Yes it’s something to behold indeed. It’s really hard to show darkness with a normal camera but we certainly couldn’t see and detail by eyesight alone. I’ve ordered a new Alpex , as I have to buy my stuff, but not having the lrf version, I’m not convinced with that voodoo stuff. Set it at an inch high at 100 seems to work for me on the bigger bullet but settle for a 70 yard zero on the 22 lr. Thank you for watching chap, I appreciate your support 👍

Great comparison between the one leaf and 4K Alpex. The one leaf is perfectly usable at a little over half the price. Another great video. Shame no Pigs showed up but well done to Robin for his Muntjac double.

Too much doom and gloom these days so it’s nice to be able to speak freely and not worry that a “ Him/Her or a They” is going to get upset. I believe that the technical team have acknowledged that there is a problem with that firmware !

Muntjac are a non uk species and there’s no season for them, they breed all year round if the conditions are right and in some places there are thousands of them. Wrong to shoot the Doe if she’s got a fawn alongside for obvious reasons though. Both of these are now in Robin’ freezer ready for dinner

I’ve just Googled your question, with this, Can you shoot deer IN DAYLIGHT with a thermal rifle scope? In England, Wales and Scotland the use of a thermal imaging or night vision scope on your rifle to take deer during the day is not prohibited . The time is right on my scope, but I also made sure that I stated the time of day when we were there , just gone 3pm when sunset was around 16:20 that day.
