We too have Sweet potatoes for breakfast and all humans are so similar in our habits though we are divided by the countries. None of the demarcations can separate us. I remember the simple lifestyle we had before in our small village way north in Scandinavia. Lived with grand parents, parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, brother big family. We had cows, sheep, reindeer, lots of fish, lots of food in the nature vegetables naturally grew here back then. The winters where cold but it was which preserved our food. Put also fishing nets under ice. We learnt early on use guns for hunting ducks, grouse .... It is natural for kids up north to learn to use tools to prepare food. It was back then.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful way of living and the delicious breakfast. It reminded a lot of my childhood life in Fiji villages. Food tasted better when shared❤️😘
What a nice family, calm and beautiful place. This reminds me of my childhood days, we used to eat cassava for breakfast nearly every morning, not with honey but with shredded coconut mixed with a little bit of salt or sugar. And for lunch or dinner we simply wash the cassava without removing the skin and throw them into the fire or burning charcoal. We eat with chicken curry or fried dried/salted fish and other dishes. I'm from Malaysia. 👍
