Not only did they burn down the kitchen, they convince people it was necessary to make burnt toast.
This patch truly makes me wonder if the devs even play their own game
Overwatch Devs are like chefs who don’t taste their food before serving it, like yeah, sometimes the food tastes alright, but more often than not it tastes just, wrong.
Its like blizzard did this to get the other roles to get pissed at us tank players and in the aftermath just say "you shouldnt have complained"
Can we PLEASE… for the love of god… get 6v6 already!
I will say, that even if these buffs ends up being nothing (as in doesn’t change the game for the worst). It still shows that the dev team have absolutely no idea how to resolve the tank issue.
Which in my opinion isn’t something that can be solved without making every tank lose their own identity so they are generalists. Or make them gigs buff so they are ‘viable’.
It’s such a problem with this format that they have stubbornly entrenched themselves into. Just take the L and give us the other tank back…..

This feels like they are genuinely throwing things at the wall to see if they can make 5v5 work. I don’t think it’ll work. I think if they accept it after this patch, we can look forward to proper 6v6 coming back, but even after this, if they say “we have no plans to reintroduce 6v6” that’s the moment I will uninstall. I’m genuinely tired of this toxic relationship with the devs who clearly don’t know what to do with their game. They’re ruining it for everyone and a lot of people aren’t ready to accept this. I am not one of those people because marvel rivals is right around the corner and we can also look forward to the new valve team hero shooter. So it would be smart of OW to actually appease their player base. But with these changes, the devs and higher ups are showing they really don’t care to think before making meaningful changes

I asked people in several matches and somehow people still think this raidboss tank meta is better than 6v6
I ran it down in a qp match as ram and went 23 - 4 while my team went 9 - 7, and 6 - 5, etc. I lost that game and people think this game is a better spot...
@hehaw6363 they specifically made these changes for timmy no thumbs and "i play twice a year but buy every shop item" gamer. It is what it is.
Half of them probably didn't start playing ow till ow2 or post season 15 in ow1. The don't have a strong frame of reference
Every day we get closer to the tank passive granting them complete immunity to crowd control.
There's no creep in this power. It's insane.
Hands down to the worst patch ever made. I guess no ow2 for me until this gets fixed. I agree certain tanks should have boop reduction like rein and roadhog for obvious reasons. Reins charge shouldn't have knockback resistance IMHO. But every other tank should have 0 boop resistance. Nobody else should have to pay for tanks poor positioning. If u get booked that's ur fault not the games. Watch next patch dps heroes get super buffed. Then healers can't do anything. Just listen to ur fans. Hell hire KarQ to adjust the patches. At least he would do it better than this crap.

This is far too much. Yeah its been crap for tanks. But it wasnt their power level. It was 1 big target will take the most fire. Especially if its your job to initiate fights. 6v6 is the only option. Tune the tanks down and go back to that format.
I love how everyone is freaking out over Mauga having 100% lifesteal, but just straight up ignore that it's only for 3 seconds, then it has a cooldown of 12 seconds. That 100% lifesteal is not going to be a factor a majority of the time. Not to mention that he needs to hit bodies for that lifesteal to actually do anything. If the enemy tank just puts up a shield or uses a damage-eating ability, Mauga becomes completely useless.
And what issue does that pose? Oh yeah counter picking. Because the only counters to it is other tank abilities like defense matrix. Because anti will just get cleansed.
@@eternalblack3183 That has nothing to do with my comment. Yes, overall this patch is bad and just amplifies the incentives to counterpick. What I was saying is that Mauga specifically was really not made any stronger with the buffs they gave him, due to hard nerfing the ability duration. He got the short end of the stick with this patch, I have not seen a single tank win with him so far since the new patch.

You like other creators caught the cass changes with relative to pharah really well. What you think of the opinion of other creators that the rest of his kit and not his range is the issue?

a lot of people saying the patch is actually good if you try it. I hate that they're not wrong.
Worst part? I'm saying that because i play quickplay a lot. So in Comps this is worst because you can't kill Tanks
