I just bought a land plane. I’m trying to get it dialed in. How deep is your cutting edge set at? Also how flat or an angle are you running? I set mine at .25 inches below skid plate and set it level using the top link. It really seams to be to aggressive with that setup. So I angled the front up a little with the top link which helped but I’m still not convinced it’s quite right. Thanks
I have a question ? Ok so you level it out with grader first then spread gravel with bucket. Did you go back with grader to smooth out gravel? looks really good. How many hours did that take to do?
Yes, we then go back over it with the grader very lightly to knock down any high spots and fill in the low spots. I'll make a video covering the exact process of resurfacing and grading a driveway here soon! This took me 4 hours I believe.
The trucking company that was sent this day doesn’t tailgate:( they can’t put their trucks in drive when the pto is engaged. Apparently they hit too many power lines.
@@ryan_lexi I’ve run into similar situations. Local material companies don’t even have trucks with chains...probably a liability in that they don’t want to hit trees or power lines. Drivers are great, though - they will try and spread the material as best they can
Very very nice job I love the work that the land plane scraper can do! Very nice video keep it up!!!
Back again! I love this video!
Love this video!
2 months later.... it is still a good video!
Great Job!
I think I watch this video at least once a day for the experience....
*Nice I am ordering one of those blades* #WorldsOkayestFarmer

What are you charging for something like that?
In a little confused, you have snow on green grass and frost on the roof, yet green leaves in trees? 🤯. Nice job on the driveway
Haha, the weathers going to do what the weather wants to do. whether it makes sense or not. And thank you!
Probably west texas
One hour with a 12g motor grader and that's that.
Tailgating wasn’t an option? For the drive anyway, it would have saved you a good percentage of time.

I thought the same thing..tail dragging saves a lot if time but I get it...working on mine right now..loved your video
Would have enjoyed a little more, at normal speed instead of fast. Maybe mix it up, a bit.
