Just came across your video great job! I’m looking to make something similar and was wondering How did you figure out the angles to use for the seat tops? Thank you!

Did you apply any wood protector inside the hot tub? thanks for the video.

No. You don't want to be soaking in oils. Also the wood needs to absorb the water and swell to make the tub watertight and any timber protectors inside will inhibit that reaction.

Great job, what type of wood did you use for the seating?

@Tools and Stuff. Great job. Towards the end, was that rain water coming into the tub or were you breaking some incredible sweat?
Hope you and your family stay safe and well.

Only found your channel recently by watching the Makita DRT videos. Excellent thanks. Hope you don't mind me asking. I'm in Auckland also. Trying to decide on the corded or cordless they are similar prices for the bare tool. (I mostly dewalt so would need a battery adaptor from AliExpress).
The RT0700Cx3 kit is really great value. But they don't do the same kit with the DRT50Z, they do a +2 kit but it's silly.$. I'm only diy so always near power. Is the cord that much of a pain? It's just so much of a better deal for the corded kit. Cheers Gary.

I agree the corded kit is better and if you are only using it i a home workshop then it will probably suit you fine.
Me on the otherhand, I use this all over the place often a long way from power or doing long runs of timber where dragging a lead back and forth every minute or so is extremely annoying.
If you are only doing routing where you won't be taking more than a few steps go with the corded for the price, especially if you haven't already got Makita batteries. Have you found my other channel yet?

@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL thank you. I think I'll hold off until Amazon starts shipping again and can compare. No I didn't see the other channel but just found it: Builds & Stuff. Cheers I'll check it out.

But where does the hot water come from..?

#First - when you make those pilot holes before you insert a stainless screw - do you mean "pre-drill"? 🤣

Do you mean #Fifth (or #seventh if you count the usual music troll scamers that I have already deleted)
Don't make me change back to pre-drill!!!
