I've been into music production for 4 years. Last year, I started taking it seriously, collaborated with a rapper, and now I'm selling beats. I use FL Studio
Producing EDM, hip-hop & other genres, too, from last 5-6 years, initially I was EDM producer but through the time I started making hip-hop beats and mix and master my own tracks. I usually don't play any instrument but with your music theory course I was starting playing chords and notes that actually helped in understanding the musical fundamentals. Daw I use is FL studio.
i have been learning music production for past two years. Started in march 2022. in march i didnt know what a daw is and i had newly saw fl studio's interface. now however i am still not good at beat making but i am aware of samples, genres, styles, and commonly used drum patterns in songs. :p recently made a good lofi beat and my friend who is a musician wants a full track
I've been playing guitar for around 10 years which led me to want to produce songs which I didn't really know how... And the first song which I really pushed me towards music production but never got that commercial releases sound because I never really understood anything about mix and master but after finding your channel(jb apke lambe Baal the aur sabse pehla setup tha) though I knew what EQ/comp etc did... But never really understood how to use them... I bought a second hand computer in around starting of 2022 and downloaded fl and cakewalk by band lab now, currently i use my laptop to make some beats on primarily on FL Studio.

Maybe you can do a small example video of a project breakdown of any music, so that we can learn the approach and impliment it. Like breaking down of the chords from the original music, sound selection etc. That will be very helpful too.

bro i've been learning music since 2012, and started making in 2017, I’m an it engineer by profession so i quit making music many times, i asked myself wt special im gonna do if i make music instead of other artists but then i eventually decided to quit my it field and start making music, i firstly did some ghost production and learn music business for 2 years, then i started working on my own still this date i criticise my own stuff to make it better next time but i saw this very common in all other music producers and beat makers that their songs doesn’t connect like music and lyrics doesn’t feel together im not saying abt mixing and mastering im saying about the soul of the song its like either they make type songs like ap dhillon type, shubh type honey singh type no originality maybe that’s the reason or music production is easy these days arrange samples and u go but this should not be done do it if u r original and good in it

Im a rapper but phele when i was in 11th std I fell in love with Marshmellow alone! Edm music made me realise music is for me.. I used to work at a toy shop during my clg days toh waha pe laptop pe i cracked fl studio 12 and i started producing music.. But it took me 4 years to figure out fl studio! Now i produce my own beats and i mix the stems and record in ableton!
