I would say bloodknight is like a defence breakthrough style. Really needs dmg dealer as your backup for the kills.
That's pretty accurate yes! This class benefit a lot more from team play compared to monk too!

Ether open world or lairs, lairs have bit better drop rate, but can be hard to find sometimes

Yeah Extra DMG and HP always helps! With the reworks on reso and BGs tough its a lot easier to fight ppl with +2k-3k more reso than you
