- Hi just to make a quick note of it here there was an issue with my channel being taken down yesterday so if you lost some comments I promise it wasn't me. When it got reinstated a lot of comment threads were taken down.
ANYWAY i have sections of my Community tab that have how parts of this Scifi AU work so if you are more interested in the world building you can find some of it there while i work it all out and hopefully i wont have my channel taken down again. Every time I see the scifi au I get excited because the way you interpret the songs into this setting is sooo good. Also your expressions are incredible Ody's really going through it.

I love the blend of sci-fi and mythology! The hi tech versions of things like Odysseus' bow is so cool! It reminds me of Treausre Planet, one of my favorite movies, in that sense. And the conflict and emotions we see on Ody's face is so good & heartbreaking! I love this AU so much!
2:41 Scamandrius/Astyanax crying because of the fighting going on outside and Odysseus _comforting_ him i CANT PLEASE THIS IS EVEN MORE HEARTBREAKING THAN CANON
I love how much detail and major supporting character energy you put into all those heroes from The Illiad who'll never show up again in Epic.

Oh, is Zeus able take control of Odysseus through his implants? The way he walks after his eyes glow blue the first time (like a puppet) and the way his words contrast his actions the second time makes me wonder. Really love these animations and all the great little details in them.
i saw it as Zeus being like a virus

The expressions at the are heart-wrenching. But also I had to rewatch the beginning several times just to appreciate everyone's designs and take in how cool Odysseus broadcasting to the fleet is!
For those of us who love this AU version and interpretation, go and find an 80s cartoon called Ulysses 31, which is a futuristic version of The Odyssey. It gels perfectly with this version of the musical, and I am loving it!❤❤❤

It reminds me of Ulysses Dies at Dawn, the second album from my favourite band, it's a very cool interpretation of Ulysses story in a sci-fi/cyberpunk dystopia, I think you might like it (sorry i can't stop trying to drag people in The Mechanisms fandom XD)
