Im glad i came and found this video...Maybe if instructions were added on how to, in the box, it would save people some time, and lots of stress....My coffee was overflowing my 12oz cup, and i couldn't figure out when when its saying its only 7.7oz.
Im going to check this works in the morning, or the whole thing is being returned, and im going back to my easy Keurig lol

As 1st time user I Agree but can’t read written too small! You tube easier to learn. Like everything new once learned its routine. amazing coffee no comparison to Keurig. On all levels.
Same except now I wasted money on tons of pods because it was only pouring out barely an ounce every time 🙄 I couldnt figure out anything because the instructions in the box say absolutely nothing 🥴 honestly I’m more confused now because each pod also says a different fl oz so do we have to do this adjustment setting for every single one?? 🤦🏻♀️help

Holding down the button on my Vertuo Plus (USA) doesn't do anything. Just makes spinning noise/ light but nothing comes out of spout....sometimes minimal drops. Then it completely stop and i get a red light if I press the button again. I have to open it and grab the ejected pod from the disposal container that didnt even get used.
Seems you have to do a reset first. Then do the reprogramming. Initially, holding down the button didn’t do anything for me either. Until i did a reset.

I’m confused. So if I have two different capsule sizes, e.g a 230ml mug and a 80ml latte size, and I set my 230ml size as desired, will that size be the same for whenever I brew my latte capsule? Or can I register two different cup sizes at once?
Thank you for your question. When programming the capsules to your desired quantity it will brew that same set amount for every corresponding capsule of the same serving. If you are programming for a coffee capsule, then all coffee capsules will brew the same serving amount you set.

It should just reprogram whichever particular blend you set.

@@nespresso with this video, I fixed our Nespresso Vertuo machine. However, the instructions for "resetting to factory settings" SHOULD BE the FIRST thing listed in the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual that comes with the machine. Thanks for this video. Our machine is now fixed.

So- essentially I can now refill with tea, and seal with the Amazon foil stickers- program to express more water.
Does tea come out any better than just making it with regular boiling water? Seems like it wouldn't have enough time to steep?
just use the rinse program to get hot water.
My office machine (of this model) is having issues with the 7.7oz capsules making 16oz of coffee. Is this happening because someone is holding the button down too long and programming it to make that much?

Look at the other videos and you will see that you just need to reset it or re-programed that barcode. Somebody must have programmed it to their tastes. Just takes a couple of presses of the button.
I went thru 5 espresso pods trying to set my new virtuoso machine. The answer here helped me do my first cup. Thank you. This machine replaces one I had for 8 years that died. I don’t remember needing to set the cup size. Again, thanks.

Terrible instruction booklet with tiny type in multiple languages. Complicated machinery parts. Just overall too much work and thought. I think I’m going back to Keurig.

Nespresso, please make a separate button for all these functions. This is crazy. Learn from Keurig, or die. I hate this crappy machine. Has so many red lights, never goes off. And then it randomly disappears. Descaling is a nightmare. And high return rates. I cannot recommend this terrible product to friends.

Reprogramming the capsules for the VertuoPlus will only shorten the brew of the capsules.
