Also have you tryed like a digial monthly planner that give you uodate notes over the week to remember you of things .

Oh that’s a good idea or just freelance artists that know website stuff, photo editing!! Catherine that’s a great idea!! There’s a lot of artists in your community who have skills why not out source to some of us?
Heck what about an internship at your local college or high school (I think your schools are different names though uni?) it would help jump start a young creatives career. Post help wanted in your local cafes and an indeed job.

lol i told u at the start of the year u were planning too much and u needed to give urself time for "oh shit" emergency moments. however.... ur spring collection was amazing and the items u added that wernt part of the original plan were amazing. maybe limit urself to 2 major launches a year and rotate what themes u do. so one year do spring and fall and maybe mini launches for summer and Christmas, if u do them at all. year 2 do the opposite.

I agree too and those are the best seasons because winter people burn money from the holidays and summer people are using on travel and stuff. I’ve also heard e-commerce tanks in the summer.
I was worried about that too when she was planning in January! I’m like I can’t tell her how to run her business, but I was like massive launches and goals are too much every month. A lot of people do this thing called the 12 week plan where large goals are cut into 3-4 months a part that’s what I’ve done and then you have 3 big goals that break down into smaller ones throughout the month.
Things happen, but things also take time and I feel bad she had to rush around and stress through this too. I just worry because it’s not sustainable especially with all the traveling. Catherine we love you and want you to take care of yourself!!
I totally agree with this comment but I also felt like you were talking to me directly XD I always get overambitious and plan too much at the start of the year and then wear myself thin. But I think it's one of those things where, it's not a bad thing to be excited and ambitious! But at the same time, you have to fully accept and embrace the burnout that's going to inevitably happen
I would by the heck out of a Autumn/Halloween tumbler series OR maybe ones that match the gaming mats.

You might be surprised the response if you advertise for a casual staff member on an ad hoc basis. A lot of retired or semi retired people like to do flexible jobs for a bit of extra pocket money without the big commitment. I know a few people who work that way, might be an option 💜

My order was a few days delayed, but it wasn't a problem at all. Your communication was very clear (thanks Dean!) And it don't take very much longer anyway!

As far as staff, have you considered doing an on-call position? As long as you are really clear up front, if you can find the right granny or student, it can be very positive for everyone. I’d recommend that you share the launch update schedule with them as far in advance as possible, and just communicate very well.
I might look into this! 🥹🌸 it would be very handy to have a part time member but it’s a weird one with the non guaranteed hours ect

Hi love, I haven’t commented or shared with you for some time, but I’m glad I dropped by to see you doing so well with your business, & am really pleased that you chose a great printer for your business, im a photographer and printer of 44 years, & I can wholeheartedly recommend the Epson ET 8550 because I have one, it will save you a small fortune in ink costs, with 6 inks, it produces superb images from a photographic point of view, but it will serve you just as well for your printed products, because it uses bottled inks it won’t run out of inks for a long time & you will be chuffed with the speed and quality honey, have fun.

Can I suggest a yearly whiteboard calendar in your office to help with scheduling. Schedule all the launch dates and all deadlines and when you should start and submit your art. And all holidays and events. Use different colours and symbols, make it pretty. That way you can see the full year at a glance and not just relying on an electronic calendar. You’ll probably start planning earlier then. And do check lists. Otherwise great launch and love the printer. I have the same one for. I use it for printing photos and general home office use. Love it

I love semi gloss paper!! I used to print on matte and with the exception of sticker paper it sucks up so much ink and I’d have to play around with the color settings to get it to work. Semi gloss prints perfect every time!

The Epson ecotank printers are so great. I have just one of the older smaller versions that I think are available at Costco now, and I love it.

I have that printer and it amazing but 😮 if you print standard there is banding and some photo papers will get black smudges. I don't think the ink last as long as well as the other eco tanks. I also hate that I can't to to the store to buy the ink. I have to order it. But this I'd definitely still my favorite.

I've been eyeing up this printer myself for my Etsy store, But I've seen some reviews say the printer can leave track marks on thicker papers/card of up to 300gsm so I've held off for now. Great Vlog! I love seeing your process!
ooooo Ill keep a eye on that! We did notice the paper was catching a little in the smaller printer drawer recently! But don't have a issue (touch wood) with the other feeders!
I've seen a lot of business put processing/shipping times in their shipping FAQ pages or on a banner when they do launches noting the processing will be a bit longer.

Love my epsons. I got the wf-7840 recently for app 60% off from Epson's own AU clearance. The first time it automatically threw it's tray out (because of course I'd forgotten) I nearly jumped out of my skin.

its cold? in the us were getting record temps and ive been baking in the sun the last 2 mouths going on 3. im use the heat, i originally lived in a place that was warmer but this year has even me wanting fall.

I just bought the exact same printer, last week. So far, I've only printed my photos but I love the end product and the fact that it's A3+ I may get a second 8550 to use for sublimation... Is it worth doing sub myself or outsource instead?
Well we love doing sun ourselves cause it means we can print on demand and release more products however, you do get a lot more waste and it can be a time consuming/painstaking time at times 🤣🥲 so it totally depends on where and how you want to run your business’ ☺️

I don’t really calibrate it as such! Sometimes it’s a case of experimenting with printer settings for the type of paper your using, each paper will require a different print setting! ☺️🌸🌸
Love the glass tumblers. Cant wait to order one. Um, regarding the items that go in cellophane.... would it cut down packing time if those items were in their cellophane packaging before the launch? That way you can just grab and pack, like you do with the stickers. I also noticed that you added additional tissue paper that wrapped around all the items to some of the boxes, but not all the boxes... was it a time saver to leave it out?
We make to order a lot of stuff, so things like mousemats ect are always printed fresh that day or the day before packing! It would speed things up! Yes it was a timesaver orrr the items looked more messy with the added tissue 🤣 actually unwrapped one that I wrapped because it was a funny shape and ended up looking really messy lol 😂 xxx

I buy them in bulk but I also print my own sticker packs in house
I used to print them all in the studio myself! 🌸✨ but we couldn’t keep up in the end!
I brought a Sawgrass sublimation printer and I don’t think it’s that good. The ink alone is over $400. 😒
Would using a tablet help to see the orders better while packing? I got a little nervous when the laptop wobbled on the stand. 😂

Have you seen the UVDTF way of doing the glass tumblers? Loads of people are doing it that way now as they don't like rotating the tumblers in the press. The results are stunning :)
