Great video! I would love to hear more about how you homeschool while being an extreme minimalist. I homeschool my son in the classical charlotte mason way and we get cluttered up with a lot of “nature treasures.” Also, I find that many Charlotte Mason people have so many things involved in their lessons which is too overwhelming for me and my son. I have done 1-2 homeschool/book purges this year but find we still have too many things.

Hi there! I plan to do another video about this topic. In the mean time, using apps like podcasts, Hoopla, authors reading their own books on UA-cam, and using the library system are all great ways to own less books. I do keep our Beauty Subject books which included 2 poetry books (can be used for years!) and some other titles that we tend to reference often. I get most of our book recommendations for free on Ambleside online. My kids each keep 1 notebook each to do a written narration. One notebook lasts about a year. I also have them do copywork from the novel we are reading in their notebook. That is it! We do 1-2 chapters of novel per day, a poem, a bible verse, sometimes a picture study or song, and history. We don’t formally do any science because we are nature lovers and learn science organically through exploration. Then, the rest of the day is unschooling, passions are at work, and we try to spend the majority of the day outside like Charlotte Mason instructed. I hope this helps!
