981 Porsche Cayman at Ridge Motorsports Park, ACNW 8/13/2023 [

981 Cayman base model, front GT3 LCAs, Cobb tune (just for fun), Sebro slotted rotors, Ferodo DS2500 pads, Apex SM-10 wheels, Michelin PS4S tires.
I was really happy with this weekend's progress. My overall pace is improved, I'm getting a bit better at the heel-toe downshifts, and I've finally started to play with throttle steering. One side effect of going faster is that I'm pretty inconsistent at T6 (the long left-hand carousel for those who aren't familiar with the track), which is pretty evident just from these two laps. I'm also frequently over-correcting when I try to rotate the car, but still, it was good to learn a new skill and try to apply it. Luckily no offs or spins. Around 3s faster than my previous best at this track, which I'm pretty happy about. Some of that is fresh tires and pads, but hopefully some of it is because I'm learning :)
