Back watching again Tony Sunday 8:01 PM just got back from team driver meeting out in Fenton Michigan Backyard crawler addicts yesterday Saturday morning six of us went out to Jaysen RC had a blast on his course then we all left and went to reaction Hobby, first time ever there wow was it awesome there loved it, I did pick up another set of your pine tree inserts couldn’t just leave them hang in there reaction so now when I get mine in the mail I’ll have two sets super cool
Not on anything I've driven them on so far. Just can't get them to hook up like the Scramblers, but they sure look sick. Going to try these pine tree inserts in them.
Respect what you're doing Tony! Making things that work for you and if it works for others let them have a try-no need to try to fit every desire everyone has. I am looking forward to getting a few sets and seeing how they do for my setups.
Thanks man. There is too much out there to try everything, so I’d rather just share what I’m doing and if people like it, they know how they can do it.
Well dang that’s super cool Tony I’ve been slowly switching mine over to flubber stuffers. But yes non-directional I do like that idea, Yep just up from a nap watching now 5:09 PM Wednesday evening
Dude chill out with the commenting. You commented like a thousand times on this video and I literally see you on other people's channels all the time commenting the heck out of 'em. The comment section isn't a chat room, it's to leave a single comment on a video and that's it.
Been working on a couple of designs for 1.0 inserts but the TPU I’m using comes out to stiff when printed. Your inserts look pretty pliable. What brand of TPU are you using? Thanks
I think so. They are a little thin for the Trench Kings by some standards. I like the extra air gap in those tires because they felt stiff to me. I have Swamp Kings in my desk and thought they were too small for them. I may make an XL set for them after I make my class 2 size for my Proline super swamped so plan to run in that class.
I have them in Swamp kings... and I personally think they are PERFECT... I like air gap between the tread and the insert and a LITTLE between the sidewall and the insert and from what I have seen so far (only had them a couple of days) they are the closest thing I have found to running 5 psi in my real crawler tires.. I LOVE THEM! but your mileage may vary due to your personal tastes.. my rig is HEAVY too... almost 700 grams!
Yeah I like that driving over the little bridge sort of there I seen the back tire going up over that little rock just the perfect squish, my main thing is I don’t like the tire roll over like on side hills your front tires whatever would be rolled over on to itself. And you don’t get there with the flubber stuffers And your inserts are doing the same no roll over on the tires
I know this video it about the inserts, but the mud pit got my attention. I’ve made one that covers 4 times the area and 2 to 3 times deeper. I may have screwed up. I have yet to test it with clay balls. I noticed the trouble yours gave you. I think I just built a esc graveyard. S*#t
That’s my passion also Tony, that nice and slow controlled crawl love watching the suspension and tires work I mostly stand in front of my rig I want to see the front end when I crawling some people watch it from the back I like the front you can see where my front tires Are atat where the front tires go the back will follow 👍👍😎 That’s my thought about it anyways
OK Tony, you nailed it! I used the 28x53x15 trees in LGRP Swamp Kings... with MoFo UDP wheels (large ring) and they just absolutely ROCK. they fit so tightly on my rings that once on, they DO NOT MOVE (I have had a lot of trouble with the foams or other inserts getting off center with no glue) the dead air space seems PERFECT... side space as well. and oh, by the way, the air freshener was hilarious and genius.. are these TPU? because it seems perfect!!!

Would these be to thin for the lgrp swamp kings?

You do need to see where your back tires are at also but mostly your front tires

I just went to your website can’t find them
Hi Andy! They aren’t available until tomorrow at 8pm.
Looks like Compass points to me
